Chapter One

Splashy

I was thinking of what type of art work should I make next, But of course, I was snapped from my thoughts. "Splashy? Splashy?? SPLASHY??" Rose continued calling my name until I finally answered her, "Yes? What??" I ask. "I've been calling your name for at least 5 minutes, You have to pay attention." Rose told me, I looked up at her, waiting for her to continue. "Anyways, Are you excited for today?!" She practically yelled at me.

I rolled my eyes, "What do you mean? It's just Thursday." I tell her and Her jaw dropped. "Don't you remember?! WE GET OUR GUARDIANS TODAY!!" She yelled at me, and she squeaked.

"I can protect myself, I don't need a guardian." I told her, She rolled her eyes at me. But her expression changed when she looked up. "Oh my god!! EEEEEEE" I put my hand over her mouth to keep her quiet.

"My guardian is loading!!" Rose said, and a big galaxy wolf appeared. "Hello, My name is Amethyst. I am Rose's guardian for now." Amethyst said, bowing. 'Were all guardians like this?' I thought. Rose was jumping up and down and she hugged Amethyst.

Rose probably hugged her very tight, since Amethyst was looking at me for help. After a while, Rose and Amethyst left to go to where Rose lives. I just waved bye to them and went back to my cave.

I was drawing the ocean on the rock I sleep on, when all of a sudden a Loading screen appeared above me. I groaned, 'Must be that Guardian thing' I thought. I wasn't able to continue, when A wolf appeared.

"Hello There! My name is Max, Your new guardian." This new guy Max says, bowing to me. "Do all Guardians do that?" I ask, looking at him. Max looked up at me, "Do what?" He asks. I rolled my eyes, "The bowing. Rose's guardian, Amethyst, Did it." I say. "Oh yeah, all guardians do it, it's apart of our rule." He says.

"Alright, well Do whatever you want. I don't care." I Say, continuing to draw on my rock. Max just sat where he was. I ignored him and just decided to start another drawing.

At 7 pm

After I was done drawing, I got up and walked to the entrance of the cave, but Somebody stopped me from leaving. "Where are you going?" Max asked and I turned over to him. "I'm going to go get some food, It's 7." I say, about to go out, but he stopped me again. "You can't go." Max told me.

I was confused, "What do you mean?" I ask. "There's a rumor that a killer is going around, I can't risk it being true." He told me. I rolled my eyes, "It's just a rumor, It can't be true. But, Fine, I'll stay." As soon as I said that, Max's face lightened up.

"Okay, good. Here have some food I saved." Max told me as he took out some fruits and meat from his bag. I took some of the food from him and ate some. I saw that Max only ate 2 apples, "Aren't you hungry?" I ask, as I look up at him and sat down.

He just smiled at me, "No, Not too hungry. You can have the rest." He passed the rest of the food to me. I gladly ate some of it, then left it alone. After I finished, I went over to my rock and went to sleep.

Next Morning

I woke up to somebody knocking on the side of my cave. When I opened my eyes, I couldn't find Max anywhere, except for a note, It was from Max. The Note read, 'Hi Splashy, I just went out to get some food for breakfast, and some for later tonight. I'll be back soon. :) From-Max.' I finally looked over at who was at the cave, Rose.

I walked up to her, "Hey Rose, What's up?" She looked scared. I shook her, "Rose??" I ask, concerned. "Do you remember that killer rumor?" She asks me, shivering. "Yeah, why?" I ask, kinda confused and worried at the same time.

"Well, It's true. He attacked Me last night, Luckily Amethyst was with me, so She was able to protect me." I was surprised from what she said, I never thought of that. So it proves that, Max was right.
