Chapter 41: Rescue Part 4 " Embrace"

" Mikey... Mikey wake up...... Mikey...."'A faded voice was echoing through Mikey's ears as he was laying senseless in the cell. He felt something shaking him as his vision was still pitch black. He struggled to opened his overtired eyes, his eyesight focusing, and finally seeing Baji over him. " Baji?..." Mikey said weakly.

" Finally, your awake." Baji said with relief. The others were leaning against the wall until they heard Mikey waking up, they instantly rushed over to him and sat down around him. " You passed out after Kisaki got the shipment opened. We were worried sick." Draken said while carefully lifting him so he could sit up against the wall.

Mikey tried to say something, but started coughing hard. " Don't speak Mikey, your vocal cords are still damaged." Mitsuya advised. Mikey couldn't say anything, he just stared at the ground hopelessly.

" Your probably wondering how we got here. Long story short, we were infiltrating one of Sterling's hideouts to find any info towards what he and Kisaki were planning. But it was a trap and we were ambushed by some skillful men. They hit Takemichi with a tranquilizer dart, then took all of us." Pah summarized.

" *Tsk* they stabbed me with a dart as well, didn't even put up a f*cking fight with me." Baji said while sucking his teeth.

" But to be honest, even though Kisaki and Sterling accomplished their plan on opening that shipment... I'm kinda glad that we were kidnapped. We get to see you..." Kazuotra confessed.

A little glimmer in Mikey's eyes after hearing Kazutora's confession. He looked up and stared at all of them with a sad expression, but he saw soft smiles of relief on everyone. He couldn't help but tear up, a light comfort that he was feeling in his broken heart, something he hasn't felt in a long time. Everyone scooted closer and embraced Mikey with group hug.

" We promise to get you outta here Mikey, we just have to wait for Takemichi and the others to get here. Just hold on a bit longer, but you have us to protect you." Draken promised with Mikey sniffling in his shirt.

Baji observed Mikey, focusing mostly on his hair, " You know Mikey, you kinda look like Izana. I'm guessing that crazy b*tch dyed your hair?" Mikey nodded.

" And that collar too, their treating you like a damn animal. I knew Hanma was crazy, but know we're dealing with another version of him, and her little group." Kazuotra added.

" Our girlfriends are not gonna be happy about this. I bet Emma wants to beat the sh*t outta that girl when she hears this." Draken mentioned, a grin on his face.

" I know right. Yuzuha is gonna have a brawl with them. I kinda wanna see it." Mitsuya chuckled. " Speak for yourselves, at least you have girlfriends that would snap necks for you guys." Baji interjected from jealousy.

" Really? What about Lila?" Mitsuya snorted. " Yeah, do you really think we didn't notice the tension of enticement between you two? I'm pretty sure the whole team knows." Draken snorted as well. Baji's cheeks were turning pink, " Thats what I'm saying, but the kitten is playing hard to get." Everyone was chuckling and giggling at him.

Mikey was softly smiling from the jokes, but he felt an uneasy feeling in his stomach, but then it became uncomfortable, then it started hurting... painfully. ' No... not now.' He thought. Pah noticed that Mikey face was contorting in discomfort.

" Guys, something is wrong with Mikey." Pah interrupted urgently. They stopped their laughter and saw Mikey aching, wrapping his arms around his abdomen. " Mikey, what's wrong?! Is it your stomach?!" Draken asked urgently. Mikey weakly nodded.
