" Aai !? Aai!? Where are you?" I shouted entering the house
" Hey Tai aree woh Aai baaju mei baat karne gyi that aunty invited her now God knows what they are talking " said Soham sitting on sofa with a sign
" Ruk mei dekh kar aati and here I brought a sandwich for you " I said walking out to the lobby and ringing the bell next door
The door opened and there was a boy "Hey ?" He said smiling at me
" Is my mom here ?" I asked straight forwardly
" Yes come na she is talking with my mummy and by the way my name is Tarun Rawal " He said shaking my hand
" Ruhani " I replied walking in the living room there was massive as compared to mine
" Aree Beta aagayi tu office sei" Aai chirped noticing me
" Tarun, didi ke liye paani leke aa " said Mrs.Rawal looking at her son who just nodded
" Aao na beta sit " She said pulling me to sit beside her
" No Mrs. Rawal it's alright I was just here to call my mom " I replied
" Woh pyar sei bol rahi hai Ruhani bhet ja" said Aai making me sit
" Toh beta tum lawyer ho ? " Asked Mrs.Rawal
" Uhm...yes " I replied curtly
" It seems like you also talk less like Jainam oh he is my older son and surgeon " She said smiling
Hearing his name made me remember the way he shouted making me flinch I guess he didn't like me I was lost in my thoughts when my Aai said breaking my trace " Chalo Rahani " getting up from the sofa
I nodded
" Milte hai phir kal " said Mrs.Rawal hugging my Aai
For a moment I didn't believe my eyes cause after so many years my mom was smiling happily after that incident
I was staring at her loss that I didn't realise and collide with a hard wall as I looked up coming face to face with him stepping back I looked at floor and quickly apologized " Sor-Sorry" I said walking past him feeling scared he might shout at me again
Ruhani yeh tu bol rahi hai who always used to say I am not scared of anyone my inner voice spoke
I don't know why I got scared but I don't want to argue with him
Jainam Pov:-
I feel really- I don't know what after she ignored me and ran away like she was scared of me I thought sitting on my bed
" She is really cute right?" came a voice
" Yes and Badass too" I replied my eyes sparkling " But I messed up" now whole sparkles are gone
" I knew it! There was something going on between you too " said Tarun making me shocked
" What the fuck are you talking about? And why didn't you knock before entering my room? " I asked grunting my teeth
" Bhai kya kiya aapne Pretty didi ke sath ?! " shouted Tarun dramatically
" Why the hell are you calling her with a nickname and I didn't do anything to her " I said annoyingly
" And since when did you start talking so much aapne abhi jitne sentence bole utne toh aap 1 hafte mei bolte ho" he taunted
" Shut up and leave my room aur false rumours mat fela there is nothing between me and her and never will you get it " I ordered
" Liar , kabhi toh hoga he " saying that he walked out closing the door behind him
That's not gonna happen ever I mean look at her she is so different from me and my world I admit that I admire and care for her but love is not my cup of tea and being a surgeon comes with great responsibilities
