~Willow 17 beging of Narto Series~

I sat outside, waiting for Shino to get home. It seemed like hours of waiting. I pinched at my skin as I waited. I wanted to know if he passed. At the same time, I didn't. I looked up, sensing his chakra. Shino was walking twords me, his shinobi headband reflecting the light from the sun. A smile danced onto my lips as I stood up to meet him halfway.

"So you actually did it? You passed?" I asked, putting my fist out, waiting for his. "Yeah, I did." His fist met mine in the air. I grabbed his wrist and pulled him into a hug. "Once Father and Torune get home, we'll have an amazing dinner. What do you want?" Shino went silent as a let go and looked down at him.

"Winter melon and a wild grass salad." I could see a very small smile forming on his face. "Alright, I've got to run to the market then. Go inside, wash up, and relax." He nodded and walked past me into the house. I looked back at him and then made my way to the market.

As I walked down the streets, I noticed how busy it was. Many parents were with their kids congratulating them on the succes of becoming a ninja. "I wonder if Naruto passed?" I mumbled to myself.

I turned right, walking into an ally way, and then I took a right heading into the black market side of Konoha. I walked into a small shop impeded behind many carts and broken bottles. A man swayed past me in a drunken state, and I almost puked at his stench. I walked up to the counter where a tall, lengthy man stood smoking.

"What are you here for now, Willow?" The man asked. His voice was scratchy due to how much he smokes. "Winter melon and wild grass. Do you have any?" I looked me up and down, "Yeah, I do. I take payment of any kind." He leaned over the counter.

I pulled out a huge wad of cash and put it on his counter. "This work?" He eye balled the cash, then he snatched it up like a feral animal. "You always know how to treat a vendor, Ms. Willow. I'll go get the things." He put the cigarette out and smirked at me, then headed to the back. "I really need to stop coming here." I mumbled quietly.

Once I got me things, I headed back home. I opened the door and headed to the kitchen. "Shit, I'm tired." I said. "You should rest then." Torune's voice sounded behind me. "I can't do that." I said as I took some more ingredients out of the fridge. "I know." He walked up to the counter and began to wash the vegetables and fruits I got out. "Black rice or white rice?" I asked Torune. "White rice, could you also make some pork and beef, I have a mission tomorrow." He asked politely. "Yeah, no problem, Torune."
