After no sleep last night, due to Kate's undying excitement for me, I'm tired as hell and might pass out right now. My phone starts buzzing, it's Christian. I pick up and put the phone to my ear.
"Charlotte, I'm outside, come."
"Ok, coming." I hang up, putting the phone into my purse. "Kate! I'm leaving!" I yell and shortly after, Kate comes out of her bedroom to come and hug me.
"Listen, if Christian tries anything with you and you don't like it, TELL ME. I'll gladly stab his eye out." She breaks our hug, "I love you and I miss you already. Have fun."
I smile, "I love you too and I miss you too. Bye K."
I wave bye and go downstairs, carrying my suitcase down the stairs. If only my building's owner wasn't such a cheap skate and made elevators. I get out of the building to see Christian leaning on a car which isn't the limo this time. It's blue and shiny and looks like a sports car.
"Hi Charlotte," He says as he gets up.
"Hi Christian," I look at him.
I break the eye contact, clearing my throat, "So where's Sawyer and the limo?"
"Sawyer's going to meet us at the spot later." He opens the front passenger seat for me and goes to put my suitcase in the trunk.
I buckle my seat and look outside. Suddenly, I saw a guy with a black pants and hoodie to cover his face. He faced my direction, is it really the same guy as the other night? Christian's door opens, causing me to get startled.
"Are you ok Charlotte?"
"Oh yeah, you just caught me off guard. And it's Charlie." I fake a smile.
Christian starts the engine, as he backs up and starts to drive off. I look in my rearview mirror. The black hooded guy's gone. Am I going crazy or what?
