Nina walked down the busy hallways of the white house holding files in her arms. She walked down the stairs although she looked as if she wasn't thinking about anything she most definitely concentrated on a case she was called in for. The party that she was assigned to had gotten into a lawsuit with a small business. The situation wasn't that big, but man was it very petty. Of course, she couldn't say that because she had to keep it professional but nothing was keeping her from thinking it. She turned the corner and there she was at her humble office. She put the papers down on her glossy wooden desk and began looking through the case further. She then called up the party she was working for and discussed their rights with them for their upcoming court date. She then hung up the phone and let out a low sigh. "Jeez nowadays people are trying to sue people for the smallest of things" she chuckled as her paralegal 'Diane' walked in. Diane was a sweet and docile female, not only was she very patient but she was also very organized and always appeared to seem stress-free. Nina looked up at Diane as she walked into her office, stopping at her table with a grin. "So how's your case Ms.Parker" Nina raised her eyebrows and sipped her bottle of Cucumber and watermelon water. "Well, I just called the party I'm going in for and I discussed their rights, they seemed pretty hostile towards the other party and even talked about the other party's attorney they hired" Diane flipped through the case pages on Nina's desk. "I see, so" she cocked her head to the side, "What even happened I mean it doesn't even seem super serious." Nina sat back in her chair. "Exactly, all this case is, is just Americans being entitled as always but as for my clients I must take this as seriously as they do and help them win this lawsuit." Diane nodded her head in a concentrative way. "I see so how much are they suing each other for? Nina smirked and looked at Diane "For a few thousand I'd say around 25k." Diane chuckled. "Who do you think will win?".."Well based on my clients' words I'm pretty sure the other party will lose I mean besides." Nina smirked once more "They don't even have an all that good attorney." Diane shrugged." well how do you know they aren't that good?" Nina looked out her window and back at Diane. "Because I've never lost a case however John has" Diane looked at Nina in an understanding way. "Well I mean he could very well win this one who knows" Right before Nina could finish her sentence her phone rang. Diane excused herself from Nina's office. Nina looked at the caller ID she realized it was her boss Detective Woodson. She answered the phone in a professional tone. "Yes sir is there something I can do for you?" Woodson took a long pause. "I need you at the Department of Justice Center at 6 a.m. sharp." Nina furrowed her brows. "Sir? If you don't mind me asking, is there something seriously wrong?" Woodson sighed "Listen 6 am sharp. I'll tell you everything there. Don't be late Parker." Then he hung up the phone unexpectedly. Nina stood and started gathering her items to head home.
