Nina sat at her counter scrolling through her Instagram looking at her rival's page 'Attorney John' She looked at his cheesy promotion video and mentally gagged. Man did she hate him and his paralegal. She texted her boss.

Nina- Hey Mr.Woodson, SO I have an ongoing case, for this party that decided to make a lawsuit against this small business. What do I do I can't just chicken out.

Daniel Woodson- Well the case will be postponed until you get back. Unfortunately

Nina- Postponed? We can do that? Well, then what about my items?

Daniel Woodson- Well there is a lot of work we need to do. Don't stress or worry about it. Come back to the Department of Justice at 5 pm So we can have another meeting.

Nina- Yes sir, thank you.

Nina walked into the building to get her ID verified by the metal detectors, then she walked back into the conference room with some tea in her thermos as she took a seat with a folder she had from yesterday's meeting. As she sat down she saw a happy but concentrated Lauren walk into the room. Lauren greeted Nina with a wide smile. "Hey Ms.Parker, how are you this afternoon?" Nina smiled and sipped her tea. "I'm good, kinda stressed but I'm ready!' Lauren chuckled. "Well, that's good to hear." Lauren looked at Devonte and Kevin."Hi, I'm Lauren are you guys working with us?" Devonte smiled "Yup nice to meet you I'm Devonte this right here is my boy Kevin." Kevin smiled and shook Lauren's hand. "Nice to meet you Lauren" Nina smiled and turned to her 3 partners. So now that we all introduced ourselves, did you guys get any new information?" Devonte pondered. "Nope" Then his eyes directed to Woodson coming in. "Speaking of the devil." Everyone turned their attention to Woodson. 'Good evening everyone. So I have some new information for you all." Clarice his assistant came walking in with a USB plug. She plugged it into the smart board and the screen showcased a map with different types of colors on it. Woodson pulled out a staff and pointed it at the board. "You all will be divided into 11 groups of 4" Attorney Fink raised his hand. "So 11 countries and 11 groups per country?" Woodson nodded. "So" Woodson smiled "Let's make this fun!". "Clarice come out please!" Clarice came out with a box full of tiny square papers. "These papers contain names of countries you guys will be going to." Clarice stated." Mr. Woodson decided it'll be boring to assign your groups to countries so, he decided to make it fun." Clarice went around the table and let on person from each group pick a paper.
Fink and his group picked a paper. Fink turned over the paper and smiled. "Holy shit Dubai in the United Emirates?" Fink and his group chuckled. Other groups got Mexico and even Thailand. Nina decided to pick for the group. She held the paper and turned it over. "South Korea??" Devonte widened his eyes and then smirked. "Like the capital of K-pop?" Lauren rolled her eyes. "Not everything that mentions South Korea is about K-pop you millennial, be serious gosh" Devonte smacked his lips. Nina smiled. "Well I guess South Korea we go!" Kevin looked at Nina. "But where in South Korea" Nina pondered for a moment. Clarice stood beside the group. "Don't worry Korean Agents will have you covered wherever your headquarters is, is where you are but you will eventually be to every city in Korea if need be." The group members nodded. "Ok, thanks." After the meeting was over Lauren Nina and both Kevin and Devonte walked to their cars. "Lauren patted Nina's back. "Don't worry girl South Korea is hella safe besides we have a strong government, we will be just fine trust me!" Nina nodded and thanked Lauren for the pep talk. Nina walked to her car as her stomach rumbled. Usually, Nina wasn't the fast food kind of person but fuck it, she gonna be leaving The U.S soon might as well enjoy some burger king or Sonics.

Nina arrived home. She didn't talk to her cousin as much because they were both busy but when they did talk they had some pretty good conversations. Nina bit into her double patty of extra lettuce and mayo burger she got while dialing her cousin Liliana. Liliana picked up her phone "Hello" Nina smiled "Heyy Ana how have you been?" Liliana chuckled over the phone. "Hey Girl. I've been doing alright y'know life is still life." Nina nodded "Yeah well. You might not see me in person for a while." Liliana paused confused. "Nina....You know I love you right.,you do not have to do this. Just think about your mama you know how much sh-" Nina cut her off. "Girl I'm not gonna commit suicide. I got a major case that can't be discussed over the phone, I kinda gotta go overseas to investigate." Liliana laughed with relief "Ohhh Chile you scared me!! Okay, I see you inspector gadget!" Nina giggled. "Yeah yeah". "So where to?" Nina sipped her nerd's slushie "To South Korea.". "Ouu. South Korea." Nina sipped her slushie once more. "Mhm.. Nothing special..I can only tell you what I'm going there for once the case is closed." Liliana sighed "Oh I see-" In the background, you could hear the banging and crying of a toddler. "Malikai!! If you don't get yo ass down from that counter!!" Liliana shouted in a motherly and concerned way. "Sorry girl I gotta deal with these kids. But good luck I love you!". "Alright love you too Ana" And with that, Nina hung up and began cleaning up her mess. As she washed her face, her phone chimed. She swiftly went over to her phone to check it. She read a text from Woodson. "Start packing by tonight and leave the rest to me. Be at Washington Dulles airport by 3 am alright." She responded to his text. "Yes, sir" Well great now she only has a few hours to sleep.
