Skye woke up in a very happy mood Because it was her birthday, a day dedicated to her.
Skye: Alright Skye, today is the day, your birthday.
Skye left her pup house where she met Chase.
Skye: Morning Chase, are you excited for the day.
Chase: Not really, i have alot of training to do for my police test.
Skye: Oh. Are you sure that today isn't special
Chase: No? Why would it be?
Skye felt a wave of sadness hit her.
Skye: No reason, i gotta see Ryder, see ya.
Chase: Ok, bye.
Skye ran into the lookout to find Ryder.
Skye: RYDER!
Ryder came out of the kitchen
Ryder: Hey, what's up Skye.
Skye: Please tell me you know what today is.
Ryder: It's a Saturday, why?
Skye's ears fell as her head dipped down.
Skye: Yeah, just a normal Saturday, i gotta go do something see you later.
Ryder Oh? Ok, bye Skye.
Skye ran out of the lookout and behind a tree. Skye was trying to fight back tears when she heard a voice behind her
Marshall: Skye are you ok?
Skye: Marshall? Yeah, im fine
Marshall: Are you sure Skye, cause today is your special day.
Skye lifted her head and looked at Marshall in the eyes.
Skye: What do you mean?
Marshall: Skye, it's your birthday of course so before i forget, happy birthday.
Without hesitation Skye gave Marshall a big bear hug
Skye: You remembered.
Marshall: Of course i did now whats wrong.
Skye: Everyone else forgot, Chase and Ryder both thought today wasn't special.
Marshall: Skye of course today is special, im sure if we just go tell them they'll remember.
Skye: NO! They forgot because the didn't care so now i don't want a birthday party.
Marshall: Skye don't say that, they do care and you deserve a birthday party.
Skye: No Marshall i don't want one now. Im just gonna lay down and relax for the day.
Skye left Marshall alone. Marshall felt so bad for Skye she deserved this and he was gonna make sure she got it.
Marshall: I have an idea.
And with that Marshall quickly ran off to prepare a suprise for Skye.
