Ritika's pov
Engagement

As I gazed at my reflection in the mirror, I felt a whirlwind of emotions.

The lehenga adorned with intricate embroidery hugged my figure, and the subtle makeup enhanced my features.

I could hear the excited chatter of my family outside, but my thoughts were consumed by Rohan.

The memory of our ice-cream outing still lingered in my mind.

His playful banter and the way he made me laugh felt like a dream.

I couldn't believe how quickly he had become an essential part of my life, bringing joy and love in abundance.

As I took a deep breath, trying to calm the butterflies in my stomach, I couldn't help but wonder about the future. Engulfed in my thoughts, I felt a gentle hand on my shoulder, and I turned to see my mother's loving eyes.

"Everything will be perfect, my dear. Just be yourself, and let your bond unfold naturally," she said, her voice filled with reassurance.

Her words resonated within me, and I nodded, taking her wisdom to heart.

Today was not just about the engagement but a celebration of the bond Rohan and I share. With newfound determination, I smiled at my reflection, ready to embrace this new chapter with all the love in my heart.

Lost in my thoughts, my bestfriend Sia , scrutinized me from head to toe and exclaimed, "You absolutely resemble a celestial entity, as if all the stars and galaxies in the universe have converged within you."

I blushed at her praise and giggled in response. Suddenly, my phone buzzed with a text from Rohan, and he wrote, "I'm eagerly anticipating seeing you, my princess. The idea of you becoming my fiancée fills me with overwhelming joy."

As I descended the stairs, I felt the firm grip of my sister Sia and my brother Ritik, guiding me down.

The atmosphere was intimate, with only a few guests and close family members present.

The room was filled with a mix of emotions, a blend of happiness and heartfelt sentiments, as they witnessed our smiles, reflecting the deep love between us.

My eyes locked onto my man, looking incredibly handsome. Rohan, standing there, resembled a Greek god, chiseled to perfection, and the smile playing on his lips had the power to make my knees tremble with affection. His kurta style suit gave desi yet bideshi look.

Rohan's Pov

I am incredibly overwhelmed knowing that today is the day I will marry my beloved, Ritika.

This indescribable feeling makes me feel like I'm soaring in the sky.In the past few days, whenever I think of Ritika, the sky appears pink instead of blue, the sun shines brighter than ever before, and the moon, well, it radiates a glow that hides its scars.

I believe I am falling deeply in love with her.I, along with my family, entered Ritika's palace, my eagerness to see her in the attire growing by the second. I was impatient, eager to officially make her my fiancee.

I couldn't contain my excitement, so I texted her while waiting for the engagement ceremony to begin.

"I'm eagerly anticipating seeing you, my princess. The idea of you becoming my fiancée fills me with overwhelming joy."

Beside me, Shaswat exclaimed, "Man, she is looking so gorgeous." I retorted, "Have some shame, she's your bhabi." "Main teri wali nahi meri wali ki baat kar raha hu pagal" Shaswat replied, pointing towards Sia.

Riya and Armaan teased me, saying, "Brother, it seems like you're planning to elope with bhabi today; you should at least look away for a moment." I chuckled, realizing I had been staring at her continuously.
