Dodging the enemy wolves and trying to shoot them was proving difficult.

I almost dropped everything when I saw Jayce go down, there was too many Blood Moon Pack members and rogues to just stop.

Suddenly as I was raising my gun to shoot, something jumped on my back and put something over my mouth and nose.

I tried to hold my breath, I could see Cole's wolf running over. I raise my gun over my head and tried to smack the person over the head with it. I got one solid hit but it wasn't enough.

My lungs were burning, I couldn't hold it any longer. I took a deep, gasping breathe and started to feel dizzy. Whoever jumped on me started to lift my limp body up, I didn't have enough strength to fight.

Cole ran behind me and started the grab at the person lifting me.

I saw Aiden trying to stop Jayce's bleeding until a pack doctor could reach them, Aiden was frantic.

I tried to roll my body out of his grip, Cole bit down on the person's arm, he dropped me.

I clumsily crawled my way over to Jayce. When I reached him, my vision was starting to go fuzzy.

I held my shaking hands next to Aiden's to try and help stop the bleeding.

I was feeling extremely light headed but I tried to snap out of it for Jayce.

I couldn't, I fell onto my back and black over took me.

I woke up still on the ground, a few people were surrounding me.

"Wha-- Where's Jayce? What's going on?" I asked and tried to sit up. I could see a few wolves still taking out the remaining threat.

"Stay down, everything is okay, Jayce is fine." Some one answered, Cole.

I ignored the whole 'stay down' thing and stood up anyway. I looked around and was mortified at how many bodies were on the ground motionless. Someone gripped my shoulder, I turned my head to see Jayce's grandpa Roy.

"I'm going to find the twins." I whispered and walked to the pack house. When I reached the door I turned and saw that our wolves finished of the rest of the threat. I ran down to the safe room to see the door still closed, I punched in the code before pulling the heavy door open.

I started to struggle as I got the door open 1/4 of the way, Will came up from behind me and helped me open it the rest of the way.

"We have taken down the threat and did a full sweep on the surrounding woods." Will informed the pack.

"Many of our own suffered loss of life in the battle and some were injured. Our condolences to those families." I stated with a sad smile.

People started to leave the safe room and I went and grabbed the twins from April.

"Thank you so much." I said.

She smiled and kissed my forehead before walking out.

"Jayce was taken to the infirmary. He wasn't looking good and he was healing extremely slow, it was slower that the speed humans heal." Will informed me and I just nodded silently.

I practically ran, well.... the best I could with two babies in my arms, to the infirmary.

I walk briskly to where I saw Roy sitting outside the room practically asleep.

"How is he doing?" I asked hurriedly.
Roy jerked his head upright.

"He is doing better, still healing slow." He informed and I nodded before walking into the room.
