My English writing skill is bad, but I still wanna try ;-;
-------------------------
A joyful ending for a muse who was secretly in love with a female knight? It appeared to be completely hopeless at first.
Memory stared intently into the void, and while buried in her own thoughts, she unknowingly scribbled a crimson heart on the notebook.
"Lazuil Memory! Are you on cloud nine again!? Come back down to earth! Go to the board and write me the answers right now!"
That was Mr. Kaelor, the homeroom and English instructor. Memory jumped at Teacher Kaelor's shout. The listening section terrified her the most. She was done...
When the radio was turned on, Memory's ears heard each word as a jumbled piece of music with muddled syntax. The speaker twisted and ate up the words every time she made an attempt to figure out the answer she needed to hear. She could only pick up silence.
Her quivering hands held the chalk, trying to draw out each letter to get an answer that was acceptable for the context. Of fact, none of them were correct from numbers 1 to 10.
Not only did she got points deducted, but it also caused her to lose the pride in front of that person. As she cast a wavering glance toward the face at the rear of the room, she was signaling "Sorry for disappointing you"
"Your study is so terrible miss Lazuil... Where's your mind going? Go back to your seat! Yang Christine, come to the board and fill in your answers."
After watching that Yang girl walked to the black board, Memory retreated to her seat in utter humiliation. That Yang girl was so mesmerizing. Her face had a few pimples, her skin was a bit dark, and her short hair was slightly curled at the ends, but even those things couldn't hide the confidence and maturity that were evident in merely her steps.
Christine discovered the solution with just a few quick strokes on the board. She jsut smiled lightly and went back to her sitting position, much to the delight of the entire class and the teacher. Who wouldn't appreciate a person who was not only skilled but also modest and had such a great personality?
At recess, while Christine chatted with everyone, Memory just sat silently alone looking at that amazing girl. She let her thoughts flow freely once more. She wouldn't be looked down upon by such a great person, right? Would Yang engage in conversation with her? And may their friendships be fostered? Memory heaved a sigh and turned to face Amity:
- Ami, I feel so hopeless!
Amity, a close companion of hers, just laughed gently:
- Hopeless for what? You haven't tried to talk to her yet you already know the results. Mem, at least give it a shot!
Memory immediately replied, her face flushed with embarrassment and shyness:
- No, it's too embarrassing. Just look at how flawless she is, I am not even qualified enough to carry her shoes.
The close buddy sighed and gave her a shoulder pat:
- Of course, carrying shoes is not worthy because your position is her girlfriend, right?
As soon as the words ended coming out from Amity's mouth, Memory was red as a beetroot and quickly turned away in embarrassment. Amity was correct; she wanted to be Christine's partner and lover, not a slave who carried sandals and shoes.
Will things turn out well if that's the case, though?
Later that evening, Memory texted that girl right away after receiving advice from her close friend. She texted, "Can we become... like... close friends?" She was so perturbed by the situation that she didn't know what else to say. It echoed the sound of a trap girl. Was what she said really that dreadful, she thought in a panic. Was it insulting? Nevertheless, within minutes, Christine sent a message: "Sure, do I look very unapproachable =)))"
The initial stage of getting to know each other had been completed; her heart was full with excitement and anticipation.
