Buckle up, friends! This is slice of life in the realest sense, which means - no plot. Just Joohyoung being a mess for 35k words, Minjun putting up with his bs, Jiho being precious and Jungwoo's friend group from we burn on the frozen ice floating around in the background. I adore them, my honor. This has been in the works for A WHILE and reasonably so. It was supposed to be a quick spin-off to we burn on the frozen ice because I was impulsively inspired to write Joohyoung and Jungwoo's breakup from Joohyoung's pov but then I blinked, spiraled and here we are now. Oh, well. You don't hear me complaining.
This fic has been such a fun deep dive into character studies and expressing my own aroace identity! Most of this is heavily self-indulgent and has been written solely to create a safe space for me. But if you happen to find comfort in this story as well, I am very grateful to have been able to provide that for you.
