A queerplatonic relationship is any committed relationship that is not defined as strictly and inherently sexual, romantic or platonic. Every queerplatonic relationship (or qpr) is different in what the partners choose to engage in in terms of displays of affection, where their boundaries with romantic or sexual activities lie, etc, etc. What the relationship means to the people in it are defined by them and themselves only.
The relationship portrayed in this work is not meant to be taken as a "right way" to be in a qpr. It is merely a variation of what it could possibly look like.
