You watched the screen, while backstage as Jey made his way to the ring. Tonight was the night that him and Cody faced Finn Balor and Damian Priest from the Judgement Day for the Tag Team Championship Titles. You knew there was a chance that Rhea Ripley, Dominik Mysterio and even JD McDonagh would interfere in the match tonight, as they always did.

You hated how much Judgement Day reminded you of the Bloodline, but you were proud of your husband for not joining them. You grabbed your phone to see that you got a text from your oldest son. You texted him back and then sat down as the match started.

You were excited as you watched, until the camera switched to Rhea and Dominik hurrying to the ring. You became annoyed and let out a large sigh as you rested your chin on your hand, as your elbow dug into the arm of the couch. "Every damn time!" You yelled as you rubbed your forehead with your thumb and pointer finger.

You became even more upset as you watched Rhea Ripley flirt and try to distract your husband. You pressed your tongue to the side of your inner cheek as you tapped your finger on the arm of the couch. You saw Jey get back into the ring while glancing at Rhea, but thankfully he didn't feed into her tricks.

You calmed down and continued to watch as the match continued. Suddenly Damian Priest had Cody Rhodes on the announcement table and you feared for the outcome of the match, if Damian successfully pulled this move off. But luckily Cody was able to move and JD McDonagh hit Damian Priest's already damaged leg with his Money In The Bank briefcase and it allowed Cody to counter Damian's attack. Damian laid on the announcement table, motionless and tired as the crowd cheered.

You picked up your phone to see another text from your oldest son and quickly responded to it. You looked up and saw that Cody had Finn Balor in his arms, preparing for Cross Rhodes. Cody looked out into the crowd before he successfully pulled off the Cross Rhodes move and went for the pin.

You watched as Dominik and JD tried to slide into the ring, as you heard the ref hit 2. You expected the pin to be broken but you heard the crowd yell 3 and then Cody's theme song hit and your jaw dropped. You jumped up and down while cheering as you quickly ran out of Jey's locker room and ran to the ring.

The crowd seemed to grow louder as you ran down the ramp. Cody tapped Jey's shoulder and he spun around and his smile grew even wider when he noticed it was you. You got into the ring and jumped into his arms as he tightly hugged you back. He placed his hand on the back of your head while he laughed.

You both pulled away and you quickly placed your hands on both sides of his face as you gave him a kiss. He kissed you back and even bit your bottom lip, before you both pulled away. He put you down and you gave Cody a hug as well. You clapped as Jey and Cody celebrated with each other before you all went backstage.

Once you and Jey got back to his locker room he threw the titles on the chair and kissed you again, with his hands on your cheeks; rubbing them gently with his thumbs. You laughed as he slowly backed you up to the couch. The two of you pulled away and he pressed his forehead against yours.
