Andy took Lucia home, driving through a Starbucks drive through on the way. She brought her sister a coffee as well as her self.
"Nobody blames you for what happened to Maya" Andy spoke softly to Lucia as she finally pulled into a parking space by the apartment building.
"I didn't mean to" Lucia whispered, she was being a thousand percent honest. She felt terrible for hurting the blonde firefighter who had made her feel safe.
"I know you didn't Luci" Andy said softly to her sister. Andy turned the car off and took the keys out of the ignition before climbing out of the car and shutting her door, Lucia did the same and slung her bag onto her shoulder while Andy took her suitcase. The two sisters headed into the apartment building and Lucia followed Andy to the apartment.
"What did you mean last night when you said you shouldn't be here & the police were probably looking for you?" Andy asked Lucia unsure how else to start the conversation with her sister.
"A few months ago my boss... my boss" Lucia stopped trying to find the right words to say, she hadn't really told anyone what happened, she didn't report it either.
"He raped me" Lucia said trying so hard to hold tears back.
"I didn't report it because I was at a party at a bar, I was celebrating my friends birthday, I wasn't drinking, I don't drink, well I didn't. But my boss followed me out when I was heading home because I had a early shift the next mornings I walked down a back ally which I had taken many times before, maybe it wasn't the best way to go but I always walked that way. I got back to my place and he pushed me inside, I didn't even know he had been following me, maybe if I got a cab instead of walking it wouldn't have happened" Lucia said unable to hold the tears back any longer.
"Oh Luci' why didn't you call me" Andy spoke and Lucia shook her head.
"He told me nobody would believe me because it's on my records that I'm an addict but I had been clean for years. I couldn't tell anyone and I soon started using again, never when I was working thought but one day, I hadn't slept all night; I'd been for a run and forgot that I had a small baggy of heroin in my bag. He fired me on the spot, I did a drug test and it was clean. So I checked myself into rehab and he showed up, I don't know why but it was so hard and I tried to kill myself. I was shipped off to a psychiatric hospital. He then showed up there the day before I left. I couldn't stay there. But I can't go back to hospital Andy. I can't. He'll find me again. Please don't make me" Lucia cried she was terrified but she was honest with her sister.
"Look at me Lucia, you were sectioned, if the police are looking for you then they will probably section you for longer. Let me take you to Grey-Sloan, they have a psych ward and let them put you on a 72 hour hold, I know you were hurting yourself this morning and I think it'll help.?" Andy spoke softly to her sister. Lucia couldn't go to the hospital, she couldn't go because she was terrified that her old boss would find her like he did at the rehab facility and then the hospital.
"No Andy. I can't. You can't make me." Lucia said,
"Anyway, I need to find a job. I doubt I'll be able to be a doctor again so" Lucia changed the subject. She knew Andy wouldn't want her to change the subject but she did so anyway.
"Lucia please. Just 72 hours and then you can come back here and actually get to know my team, you can get to know Maya more. Please Lucia. I don't want to loose you again" Andy pleaded with Lucia who knew her sister was right and she deep down wanted to get the help.
"I need to apologise to your friend Maya, what if I've seriously hurt her" Lucia worried about the blonde.
"If you let me take you to the hospital I'll get her to come by later. I just want you to be safe" Andy said as she worried about her sister.
