Chapter 11

Chapter Name:Die by the blade

Leo's POV

Leo wakes up and smiles and turns to his husband but frowns as Yuichi wasn't there. "Chi? Yuichi?" Leo gets out of bed confused and ties his mask on.

Leo walked out of his room and into the kitchen to see his brothers drinking coffee. "Have you guys seen Yuichi?" Mikey nods "He told me and Donnie he wanted to get up with the sun to train Casey" Leo chuckles "That man takes no breaks" They al laugh together but then Leo sinks into his seat "I just wish he told me, there's a very crushing disappointment thinking you'll wake up next to your husband, and turn to see he isn't there" Leo sighed. Mikey smiles wide "Jealous" Mikey says in a giddy way "Wait are you say he's jealous or that you are" Mikey giggles "Me duh! Aren't you?" Donnie shrugs "Eh especially now a days romance is very low on my priorities" Mikey raises an eyebrow "Really? So you don't want a husband at all?" Donnie scoffs "I just said it's a low priority not that I'm not interested" Leo chuckles "I got lucky guys no need to get upset or jealous" They both nod.

After a few minutes Mikey and Donnie walked out as Leo ate his breakfast. "Leo! Leo you need to see this!" Mikey yells as he ran back into the kitchen it seemed urgent. Leo walked in confused "What's going on here" Leo asked not being able to see what Donnie was holding but he did see Cassy crying "L-leo" he heard a weak voice call for him but he insistently recognized it "Chi!" He runs over to Donnie to him holding a bloodied Yuichi a large wound in his chest like he was stabbed "W-What? What happened?" Donnie started to hyperventilating "C-can't stop the b-blood a-all over my h-hands! And body! Dieing! a mess!" Leo wasn't doing much better but he need to calm himself "O-ok! Hand him to me! Then get the first aid kit for me!" Donnie nodded handing him to Leo and Mikey runs up "I can...I can try to heal him with magic but I can't be sure if it-" "Do It!" Leo yelled tears finally breaking past his defenses and leaking out his eyes and falling down his face "Chi! What happened! Please you can't die on me! I can't lose you! I can't keep loseing people!" Leo cried out holding Yuichi close and tight he was getting hysterical "P-please Chi I need to know what happened"

Yuichi's POV

Yuichi had Casey come up to the hill to train with him as soon the sun started coming up. Yuichi not only was taking Casey's training far more seriously now but he needed more himself. The rabbit handed the boy a dull katana "Here come attack me with all you got" Casey hestates "B-but Master Usagi" Yuichi chuckles "It's dull you have to hit really hard to even break skin" the boy nods and swings at his trainer and the hit was reflected by his own sword "You didn't get this far by hestateing Casey! Give me that killer instinct" Casey frowns "B-but Master Usagi I-" "No excuses your two slow!" Yuichi jumps at him his strike was reflected "Good but your being to passive!" Yuichi tries again and again each hit deflected "That's to weak Casey!" Another hit deflected "You can't protect anyone like that!" Yuichi yells swinging for an overhead strike. "Shut up!" Casey yells as he jabs his katana at Yuichi. Yuichi jolts at the sudden pain and staggers back "Master Usagi!" Casey drops his swords and runs over.

Casey was in a panic thinking he killed his teacher, but Yuichi just laughed and removed his hand "See? Didn't even break the skin". Casey smiled "Although that hurt a lot more then I expected, good job" Casey smiled wide like there's was stars in his eye. Yuichi nods "Ok pick up your blade it's time for a rematch" Casey nods with a new found determination.

Hours of training went by before the ground began to shake "Shit Casey we need leave now" Casey didn't protest and followed behind Usagi "Oh! Our swords" Yuichi jolts at the comment and sees Casey running back "Jigoku! Casey get back here!" Casey runs up as the krang's robot stomped forward "Oh gods!" Yuichi looked back and forth and started running as he said a prayer in his mind "Please I pray to all the gods to give me the strength to save this child" Yuichi keeps running but it soon became clear he wasn't fast enough. Yuichi yelled out as he reached his hand out and with one last ditch effort he relied on his dormant mystic blood. "Chikari!" A blue symbol glowed and blew a big force of air pushing Casey out of the way. Yuichi was surprised and looked at his hand "Kanji Magic...I have it?" Yuichi was barely able to dodge the foot crashing down "Stupid aliens!" Yuichi cuts up the leg in a corkscrew style the leg falls apart. Casey gasps at how stylish it was. Yuichi went for the krang but the mech's hand hit him into a nearby building created a large crator in it. Yuichi tried to peel himself out of the crator but he couldn't before a fist punchs him through the building into another one impaleing him on stray rhubarb as he spits up Blood. "D-dam I failed" "Master Usagi!" The krang turns to Casey making Yuichi jolts up "Don't... you...dare!" Yuichi yelled out "No hestation!" Yuichi jumped off the building the rhubarb stuck in his chest as he flys throwds the alien. The rabbit yokai pulls out the rhubarb to use as a weapon "Chikari!" He yelled throwing the rhubarb trough the krang killing it. Yuichi chuckled lightly as he slowly fell to the ground and rolled down the hill as the robot crashed father back. "Master Usagi! Master Usagi!" Casey ran up to Yuichi "C-Casey...that's...you...right" "What? Y-yeah can't you see me?" Yuichi chuckles "Not on that side, not anymore"
Casey began to cry "H-hold my h-hand I have an idea" Casey snifs but dose it. Yuichi takes a deep breath "Toguchi" Yuichi whisperd out telporting the two underground

"Master Usagi" Casey cried out "Child please it's ok to cry, show emotion and be upset, but...we can't let it stop us from doing what's important" Casey nods sniffing "What do we have to do?" Yuichi smiles "I...I need to see Leo again...the base I think...it's around the corner, can...can you carry me, there" Casey nodded again with tears in his eyes. Casey struggled but picked him up and slowly got him to the base as soon as Donnie & Mikey walked "Oh me gosh! What happened!" Mikey yelled running over with Donnie. Yuichi was pretty out of it he was sure he was dying but he heard his voice his husband's voice "L-Leo" he called out as loud as he could without straining himself, soon he was greeted by the face he loved so much he only focused on that as he was placed in his husband's warm caring arms. "P-please Chi I need to know what happened" Yuichi smiled "I did it...for him...like you asked" some tears fell on Yuichi as Mikey tried his damdest "It's not working Leo" the box turtle cried "Please...don't blame Casey...I...I was wrong he's the hope of the future" Leo couldn't help but sob "Leo please" Yuichi slowly and painfully untied the band tied his ears together "Put my blade in the ground and tie this around it" Leo cried out "No your not dieing!" Yuichi preses his forehead against his husband's "You were the best thing to ever happen to me...I'm so happy I had you...I can't wait to see you in the realm of ansisters" Leo gasped hearing that "b-but I thought it was only your own bloodline" Yuichi chuckles weekly "Our bloodline become intertwined the moment we married" Leo sobbed as Yuichi died in his husband's arm

Leo's POV

A few hours later everyone went up to the hill "He killed a krang" Donnie stated. No one commented on it everyone was ether silent or crying as Leo buried Yuichi alone "Do you w-?" Leo shook his head "No this is my job" the hour it took was silent "where is his sword" Leo asked no one had an answer. Leo grumbled "Fine" Leo grabbed one of his swords and stabbed it at the head of the grave and tied the band around it "Won't you need that sword" Donnie asked his twin brother "No he wanted the bareiel of a samurai like he deserved why the hell would I take that away from him!" Donnie jolted back "I didn't mean-" "used that big brain of yours for some god dam empathy for once!" Leo yelled at him before leaving "I-I didn't" April nods "I know but he's hurting a hurt that won't heal" Donnie sighs as everyone headed back
