The truth ranged through the empty dark room of the prison. Taehyung palms clenched into fists and beads of sweat were evident on his face.
His expression portrayed guilt and Sierra smirked looking at him. She was aware of the truth all this time. She knew his weakness and now she was using it against him.
Taehyung broke the bracelet because as a teen he was näive. He thought his parents won't love him anymore if there's a sibling added to the family line. It was too late for him to realise what he did, when he saw how he destroyed two lives but the milk was already spilled, he couldn't do anything.
Being from a conglomerate family he always had this pressure of succeeding. His parents were so busy to even talk to him. All he craved was the love and attention of his dear parents until, Sierra came into his life. That was the point he understood how it feels to be an elder brother, how beautiful it is to be a protective and loving brother. Even though Sierra was childish, Taehyung loved her as his sister. She filled his void of loneliness and made his life colourful. This was the reason why he ignored her wrongdoings until he got to know how ugly this all turned out.
He still has that guilt, had it not been for him, Jungkook and Violet would've been adopted into good families. Jungkook would've been his step-brother and maybe...

Comimg back from nostalgia, he let out a deep sigh and glanced at Sierra, letting out his final words before his departure.
"I hope you reflect on your blunders while you stay here. I won't ever come back to look at you, even though it'll hurt. I know you too, love me and the Kim family and this will be your biggest punishment. You hate being alone don't you?" He got up from his seat and uttered heartbreaking words, making Sierra's eyes widen in aghast.
"Stay alone here." He taunted and was about to go, when Sierra held his wrist. He didn't turn back but just listened to her painful moans. He knew if he looked back, his brotherly side would come out.
"B-Brother I-I'm sorry! Please-" Her lips quivered and she tried to speak something, but Taehyung jerked his hand from her hold and hastily walked out of the place. Certainly, his decisions were harsh but he was the one who was getting hurt more than Sierra.
As soon as he came out and sat inside his car, he finally lost his composure and broke down into tears. He stayed in the same position for half an hour, his nose and cheeks turned red in the process.
Afterall, he adored his sister.
And he was the reason for everything that happened.
