"He won, let's pretend surprise." Jungkook jokes, wrinkling his nose, and Jimin smiles broadly. Yes, what a surprise. Clearly that's what was going to happen."

Namjoon receives a lot of applause and congratulations on the spot, apart from a ribbon across his chest, a badge on his military uniform. Jimin notices that he is wearing the solitaire as he recommended him to do. Taehyung turns up the volume, being that they want to hear what he is going to say. Namjoon is very good at talking.

Although having his father not too far away, they think he won't say anything he had initially planned. Namjoon gives a somewhat strained smile before speaking:

"Thank you very much for choosing me to take this very important position for the nation," he says solemnly. "Understanding the risk involved and the trust you have placed in me, I will give my best effort to make things right... I would like to announce part of the strategies I would like to implement during my time as minister."

He bites his lips and looks straight ahead.

"I would initiate the process of registering omegas to be considered citizens within our country" There are slight murmurs within the room and the smile on Taehyung's face wipes away, surprised. "Re-evaluation of the requirements for possession of one and a fortification in public education of all classes... If we are to return to the glory we were, and even surpass that mark, we must be smarter, we must be more than a system divided on who was or was not born of a good caste Omega" He rests both hands on the wooden state and squeezes them. "And rather than look for what we don't need, fix everything from within. "

There is loud applause and it is possible to catch the grim face of Namjoon's progenitor. The newly appointed minister smiles cordially for the photos being taken of him. The problem they have is solved so easily it's laughable:

Teach everyone to be more human and not mere animals or working machines.

No one should be able to say that they live in a system that abandoned them.

Everything has to change and if he has to do it himself, he will.

Jimin smiles, clapping his hands softly in the hospital room and giving a light, almost enamored sigh. Jungkook watches him tenderly. He can tell they are seeing the real Namjoon in action. What he has really been all along, but hadn't exposed to anyone because he thought he should just go with the flow.

And he still must, but not by following the path, but by changing the channel to travel along with the rest. Let that erudite and even deluded thought flow like blood from a cut.

Let what really matters come out instead of doing what others want.

"As long as there are no more riots over this, I'm all for it. Let them make him president too." Taehyung animates raising his hands and Jimin shakes his head, giving it a shove and then awkwardly complaining about the pain in his lower area.

"If he could do it." comments Jungkook loosely, stroking Hoseok's head that fell asleep on the stretcher. Jimin reddens, he doubts it was really all his cause.

Maybe Namjoon would have figured it out on his own. Eventually, everyone wakes up from the sweet sleep that is comfort and wants to rebel against what is unjust.

And being Namjoon how could he not have done so? The reality is that he wouldn't have. He had nothing to fight for. He was just following a line set for him and now he doesn't need it.

He has his own course now.

He has something he wants to take care of and something he wants to fight for.

~ * * * ~

"Are we on a trip, couldn't it be some other time? I don't feel well enough to endure a trip." whines Jimin, sitting co-pilot in the car. He's just been discharged and Namjoon looks ready to take him to a rainforest. He doesn't understand why they are so far from home.

Essentially Jimin only know a medium-sized plot of land that is within the capital, relatively close to the center of Omegas and everything, but abysmally far from his residence. Namjoon has been unwilling to answer the subject and contrary to that, he is mysteriously silent on the matter.

"It's a surprise."

"The surprise will be what we get when one of them starts crying." Jimin points to the back, where they have the five sleeping children. Despite Yoonji and Matthew's six months, they sleep the same amount of time as their newborn siblings. Which gets to be a little funny in practice.

"Be patient." Namjoon advises.

The journey continues for another fifteen minutes until they reach a house in the middle of nowhere. Surrounded by a tall copper-colored fence. Jimin gets out of the car and furrows his eyebrows What's with this house? It's gigantic and there's room to build if they want to. A moderately accommodating garden, a porch and even a small greenhouse not far from the house.

Namjoon encourages him to go along as he takes out all the babies, being especially tricky considering he's one and can't carry more than two.

Jimin enters the house, retracing his steps and looking at the ceiling. It is a spacious place, walls in an almost white beige, pale wood floor, matching furniture; pictures he is sure Jungkook painted, the entrance to the kitchen, huge windows, a flat screen TV; stairs to the second floor, conditioned with a suspicious grille on the way up and down.

Namjoon drops the children one by one into a giant pen where they will be fine while he and Jimin talk.

"I don't understand what is this?" asks Jimin, stunned. Namjoon clasps his hands together behind his back and leans toward him.,

"Our new home."

"Huh?"

"We don't have that much space in the apartment and I remember you mentioned that you always dreamed of a house with a garden" Jimin reddens little by little. "So I was looking and I got this house. I had to do some repairs to it. From the fence, the walls, painting it; Jungkook helped me decorate" Namjoon relates. "So what do you think?"

"Are we really going to live here?" he asks impressed, almost incredulous. Namjoon nods, "But... h-here..." He looks around and runs his hands through his hair. "This is huge. It's-"

"It's perfect for all the kids we're going to have, rabbits, dogs, cats, whatever pets you want and..."

Namjoon leads him down the hall. There are two doors. The one on the right leads to a small room with mirrors. Perfect for dancing; in the one on the left, there is a desk, notebooks and new drawing materials.

All perfect and ready for him to use. Jimin feels his lips twist and his eyes burn.

"I reckon it's time for you to get what you want. What you really want."

Jimin forced himself for too long in say he wanted a mate, he wanted puppies, to be loved, but the truth... Namjoon knows it's false! He was saying it to pretend. It took him a while to notice.

Jimin wanted to dance.

Jimin wanted to paint.

Jimin wanted to sing.

Jimin wanted to live for himself and nothing else. Something an Omega can't dream of, but Namjoon is convinced he can give it to him. Create a little corner of the world where he can do it.

"I love you."

Jimin abruptly turns to him, hugging him by the neck and kissing him on the lips so hard and desperately, Namjoon thinks the Omega wants to devour him. He holds him, carrying him to make contact easier.

Just when it seemed like all the gifts were given, Namjoon gives one more.

What Jimin was so longing to hear and say in response, "I love you, I love you, I love you." Namjoon smiles wide, touched by the pile of kisses on his face.
