Cara was used of getting up early and knew that if she wanted to warm-up early in the morning, she had to get our off bed when she heard her alarm. So as usual, when she heard the alarm, she quickly got up and went to her bathroom.
She washed her face with cold water so she wouldn't be sleepy and started washing her teeth. After she was ready, she quickly grabbed her dance uniform and went in the shower. About about fifteen minutes later she was all dressed up and was blowing her long brown hair dry. After ten minutes she switched on her radio low with her favourite songs and started stretching.
At about six o'clock she hears a light knock on her door and she turns down the radio volume and goes and opens the door.
"Good morning Sunshine!" Cara's Dad greets her with a big breakfast on a tray in his hands.
"Good morning Dad!" she says smiling at him.
"Here's your breakfast darling. Now, you've done enough stretching. Have breakfast and go change for school." He says giving Cara the tray.
"Ok Dad. Thanks for the breakfast!" she says as he goes back downstairs.
After she closed the door, Cara sat the tray on her bedside table and switched off her radio. She than sat down on her bed and began eating her toast with butter and pancakes with jam. After she finished up eating, she drank her fresh orange juice and put on some cozy clothes on her dance uniform so she could easily get into her uniform after school.
By six thirty she was near her Dad watching some news on the television.
"Well, I have to go, Dad." Cara whispers as she gets up tiredly from the sofa.
"OK hunny. See you at nine tonight then." he signs, trying to smile.
"Dad, I love you. But I have to go to dance classes. You know I love dancing. I've been dancing since I was a little girl." Cara explains to her Dad softly.
"Yes I know. It's just that I miss you. I rarely see you. You go out at seen in the morning and come back at nine at night. I don't think that's fair on Daddy." he says, laughing at the last bit.
"I know it's not fair. But don't you want to see your daughter dancing and performing in front of billions and billions of people! Imagine, you'll be famous too and then-'' she says with a big smile nut was cut off my her Dad.
"I've heard this million of times! I hope it happens and all this going to classes will be worth it!" he says as he gets off the couch and go make some coffee.
"I have to go or I'll be late for school. Love you Dad." she says as she gives him a hug and a kiss on his cheek.
"Bye Darling." he says as he kisses her forehead.
"See you!" she yells before closing the door.
"See you." her Dad says softly and sadly.
Cara's Dad almost never saw her. She began this whole classes all the time thing when she was fifteen but he was proud of her. She did great at school and he said that it wouldn't be fair if you wouldn't be allowed to do your favourite hobby.
That night, as the front door opened, Cara's Dad turned off the laptop and went to greet his daughter.
"I've missed you." he whispers in her ear as he hugs her tight.
"What about me? I missed my Daddy more!" Cara says as she smiled and hugged him even more.
"So what's for dinner?" Cara asked as they both went in the kitchen.
"I made some pasta with your favourite sauce." he says as he shows her the pot.
"How'd you know that's my favourite?" she says sarcastically as she throws her hands in the air smiling.
"It's been your favourite since you were a little kid!" he said. "So, you wanna eat now?" he asks.
"Yeah. Did you already eat?" she asks as he sits on the table.
"How could I eat without my little princess?" he asks as he began to do the plates.
After they ate and washed up everything, they went on the sofa and turned it on the cinema channel. At about half past eleven, the movie was over and Cara was lying her head on her Dad's chest as he held her close and hugged her tight.
"Lets go to sleep." he whispers in her ear as he got up the sofa and turned on the stairs light.
"Goodnight Dad." Cara says overtired.
"Goodnight sweetheart." he says as they both close their bedroom doors.
That night, like every night, Cara washed her teeth, got into her pyjamas, set the alarm and went under the sheets. And like every night, she imagined herself dancing to a huge audience and she was famous but then a taught of age passed her mind.
She began thinking about the future. Her job, her studies, her dancing and most of all LOVE. Will she ever find love with her dancing? ANd will she continue dancing when she is older? After some more thinking, Cara fell asleep and the next morning was like the previous day.
