The Fallen Angel

Chapter 4

       My sleep got ruined by a nightmare. I dream of the pain and crying for Mark when she was banned from Heaven. I wake up screaming. After calming down  I lay back down and go back to sleep. In the morning  I wake up by the beeping of my alarm clock. I get ready for school, today i decide to wear my cute blue dress. I head to school. On the way to school she passes these five boys. They were all surrounding the guy in the middle. I stop in my tracks. The guy in the middle looked like Mark. The boy glanced at me but looks away. He walks right past me. I get to school. All i could think about was the boy that looked like Mark. Was it him? or am I just imagining things?

  After school ends. i go home and look at all the pictures of me and Mark. I only wanted it to be Mark. I go out on a walk to clear my mind of Mark. i go to the park I loved before i died. i sit on a swing and look up at the sky. i swing for a little while. Than i get off and ran around the track. I remember running around the track with Mark back in Heaven. They had to always run at night because he was from Hell. I run until my body can't go farther. I sit down and catch my breath.

   Dark soon fell upon the earth. I stand up and start walking home. i space out and don't pay attention to where i'm walking. I walk out into a street with passing cars. Before a car could hit me a pair of hands grab me and pull me into his arms. "Are you trying to die?" the boy says. "I'm sor.." i  stop mid sentence. "Daniel?" I as. "Nice to see you again brat." Daniel says smiling. "I'm not a brat, you jerk" I say. "Why are here?" i ask. Daniel steps out of the way. The guys she saw earlier were there. They all surrounded that one guy. My eyes wide and i stare at him. He stares back. The guys step out of the way and he walks to me, "I have missed you Emily" Mark says. "I can't believe its you Mark.." I say with tears in my eyes. "Mark I hate to interrupt but we got to get going. We are running out of time" Daniel says. "Running out of time for what?" I ask. "We have to..." Mark starts to say but Daniel interrupts "Mark you know the rules" He says. Mark falls silent. He hugs me "Meet me at the park at midnight tonight." He whispers in my ear so I i was the the only one that could hear. He pulls away from me and they walk away.

    I walk home and wait for midnight. I watch TV for a while to pass time. After a while I decide to do homework. I wasn't paying attention to time and time passes fast. When I look at the clock its 11:45. I put on flats that matched my dress. I lock the door behind me and run to the park. I arrive at the park at 12:04 out of breath. Mark comes behind me and hugs me "Your late" He says. "I'm sorry." I say smiling. He keeps me close. "What was that all about today?" I ask. "Forget what happened today. That doesn't matter right now." He says "But Mark.." Before i could say anymore he kisses me. I was startled. He pulls away and smiles. But his smile fades. I turn around and see the boys that was with Mark earlier. Daniel steps forward "Mark Wilson, you have been requested by Lord Lucifer. He wants to see you right now" Daniel says with no expression. Mark nods, he looks at me "I'm sorry, i will see you soon." He says. he turns away from me and walk towards Daniel. "Open the portal" Daniel says to the other guys. "Yes sir" they say and open the portal. They all disappear.
