Eda saw Marcus making out with a random girl on the couch. Eda just stood there, not knowing what to do. She heard all the small noises they made, then just went into the guest room and locked the door. Marcus never even noticed.
Eda sat in the guest room for hours, what's worse is she didn't even cry, not a tear. She just sat there looking down. After a few hours, she got a text from Marcus asking where she was.

Not even 30 seconds later he was knocking on the door. Eda got up and opened the door. Marcus was there, with lipstick on his shirt and hickeys on his neck. "Eda, honey I'm sorry! I-it won't happen again" eda turned her head. Marcus took her by the waist. "Im so sorry babe, she didn't mean anything! It was a mistake.. It's you I love you I want a family with" eda blushed then looked at her deadbeat husband. "Promise you won't do it again.. " Marcus kissed her forehead. "I promise"
You would think eda would have the two sense to leave him, but he's degraded her to a point where not only is she desperate for affection, she'd believe anything he said.
However everyone knows.. Once a cheater always a cheater. Over the next few weeks Marcus was always gone, and only came home in the morning to get ready for work. Meanwhile eda was at home wondering where he was, but knew exactly what he was doing and yet she never left him.
One morning when he came back and got dressed, eda was still being a good wife and making him lunch. But her eyes looked dull and had small eye bags because she wasn't sleeping well. When Marcus walked back out, he looked at her. "you really let yourself go edalyn, this is why Im the only person who wants you, otherwise you'd die alone" eda sighed and lowered her head. "I know.. Have a good day" Marcus took his lunch and looked eda up and down. "Yeah yeah, and we need to talk after your shift" eda looked up at the ceiling to avoid crying. Eda never let herself cry, and eventually sucked it up and left.
When eda got to work she bumped I tot he same girl as before, who she now knows who's name was...... Stephanie. " edalyn, I see you have nothing else better to do that to bother me, and what are you even wearing, you look like you just woke up, and why the hell do you look like you dragged yourself out of a coffen, there's something called foundation you know" eda just stood there. It's not that what Stephenie was saying hurt her feelings it's just Marcus has pretty much conditioned her to just take critisim.
Stephenie was then shoved down to the floor. Eda looked up and saw Raine smirking. "So sorry about that, eda you alright?" Eda giggled, and nodded. "Raine your crazy" eda hugged them, which made Raine feel like a literal hero. "Anything for you walnut.. Anything" Raine would do anything for her,and would always help her if she needed it. After all she did the same for them when they were younger.
Later on while eda was working she seemed drowsy, mainly because she hasn't been getting a lot of sleep due to mark cheating on her. Lilith walked over and saw her dull eyes. " edalyn.. Are you alright?" Eda looked iver at her sister and forced a smile. "Mhm.. I'm alright, just a um early morning" Lilith didn't seem convinced and stayed skeptical about eda's excuse. "Are you sure?..you just.. Your.. Changing" eda gave a confused expression. "C-Changing?.. What are you talking about I haven't changed" Lilith looked nervous to continue as not to upset her sister. "Eda.. You.. You just haven't been the came since you got married.. You used to be so.. Full of energy.. And.. Confident...you just seem so submissive now" eda was taken aback by Liliths claim. "I don't understand.. Lily what are you trying to say?" Lilith took a deep breath. "Is.. Is Marcus.. Hurting you at all.. If he threatened you-.. " eda stood up. "Lilith what's wrong with you!? Why would you ask me something like that?" Lilith backed up a bit. "E-edalyn.. I don't mean to over step it's just.. Well I just want to make sure your safe" eda started getting a little upset. "Im fine! Marcus.. He wouldn't do something like that! He's not perfect.. But he promised he wouldn't do it again" Liliths eyes widen. "What did he promise he wouldn't do again?.. Edalyn had be been hitting you?"
Eda folded her arms "jeez Lilith no! He just.. I-i.. Saw him with another woman..but he said he was sorry.. " Lilith shook her head. "He's cheated on you!?" Eda sighed, and just sat back down. "Drop it.. I have everything under control" Lilith wanted to get to to the bottom of this. "Eda no! How long had he been doing this?! Why haven't you left him!?" Eda pushed her sister back. "I said drop it! Just.. Go" Lilith felt slight guilty but also sympathy for her little sister. "Eda.. I-im sorry I didn't mean to-" eda interrupted again. "I said it was fine! Just drop it" Lilith backed off and felt bad for pushing her, so she dropped it per eda's request.
When eda got home Marcus was there waiting for her. "Eda, we need to talk" hearing those words sent chills down eda's spine. "O-okay.. Whats wrong?" Eda sat down on the couch beside him. "Eda you know I love you right?" Eda smiled and nodded."and il always love you, but.. I'm just not sexually attracted to you anymore.. Whi h is why I'm asking if you okay with us having an open marriage "
