"Have you heard about the new bride of the rudwicks?"

"Oh yes that crooked woman!"

"I feel pity for young master Killian who had to marry such a lawless and vulgar woman!"

She stood by the pillar all alone, her beautiful dress beaming under the lighting, her beauty was otherworldly indeed. But what was even the point of everything? The person she got ready for didn't seem to be anywhere around. She just kept her head low and looked at everyone dancing with a bittersweet smile.

She took a glass of champagne, she was just about take a sip before she heard something.

"Is that young master Killian and lady Elize who is dancing!"

She flinched and looked up in shock to the people dancing. Her eyes immediately caught her husband with the young lady dancing.

She had lovely blonde hairs and beautiful blue eyes, indeed a innocent and pure angel. Ofcourse she was the female lead of the novel. Ofcourse she'll get his attention... Ofcourse she will get all of his love.

Her grip on the glass got a bit tighter and she bit her lower lip until they started to bleed. She then lighten up her grip on that glass so it won't break and took a deep breath.

"I Killian Rudwick, swear upon the name of the holy lord above us that I will dedicate my heart and soul to my wife. I will love her from now and to the eternity until this world shall come to an end."

"Fucking lies." She muttered under her breath as she ran towards the powder room where no one could see her. Tears filled her eyes as she was rushing down the hallways.

"You fucking liar." She muttered as she tripped down on the ground tossing away her dignity of a noble woman. She sat on the ground while sobbing. "I can't believe that I loved you... I can't believe that I trusted your words... I can't believe that those were all just hollow vows and nothing else..."

"You fucking liar!!" She sobbed. "You..." She sobbed. "I hate you Killian Rudwick... You damn bastard..." She said before passing out.

"Killian what are you doing?!" The young lady said while peeking at the young master through the bark of the tree. "Reading a book." He answered while shoving his head in the book again. "Come on Killian let's play!" She jumped and sat down beside him. Both of them were too young at that moment... Maybe around 6 and 7.

"Don't annoy me or else I will tell your father that you were bothering me." He threatened her jokingly. She pouted at his threat, "what a boring boy!" She said sulking to which he laughed at her a bit and hit her head lightly with the crook of his book.

"Okay stop sulking now I will play with you."

"Yay you are best Killian!"

"I want a divorce." Her voice echoed in his study as he froze while looking through the documents. "What did you said?" She asked while looking up from the paperworks. "I want a divorce, your highness." She said with a cold and dead serious expression.

"What... What are you saying?" She sighed. "You are not in your right mind right now, go and have a rest." He said while looking at her. "No, I am perfectly fine and I mean what I say, Killian Rudwick." He froze and took a moment to process everything.

"Is that what you want?..." He asked rather bluntly. She never expected him to beg her to stay anyway. She knew he would do it straight up, she knew she is just giving him an opportunity to be with Elize and be free from being bonded to her. "Yes, i want a divorce." She looked down on the ground trying to hide the tears dwelling in her eyes. She couldn't just bring herself to look at him at all.

A tear couldn't help but roll down her cheek to the ground. She couldn't believe this was the same Killian who once said he couldn't live without her.. the same man who said he'll even bring the stars for her if she may ask.... Who vowed in front of everyone to love me till eternity...

"Then I shall grant you this wish." She bit her lower lip. She felt shallow as she nodded, "yes my lord." Her voice was shaking and cutting in between. She just turned around and shut the door behind her running straight to her room. "i did it..." She muttered as she shut the door behind her before breaking down as she didn't wanted anyone to see her ugly cry.

"I did it..." She said while sitting down on the ground while sobbing and buried her head on her knees. She then looked at her engagement ring and took it off throwing it away in somewhere in the corner of the room. "This is it.... This... This is our end..."

"Y/n, will you please marry me?" She squeaked out while jumping when he bend down on one knee and asked her this. "Yes yes yes!" She pulled him in a tight hug.

"Thank you... Thank you so much." He hugged her back tightly and kissed her hairs. "I love you... I love you so much..." He asked while never letting her go. "I love you too Killian... I love you the most in this whole world..." She said cupping his face and giving him a kiss.

"This... This is our beginning..."
