i got undressed and jumped into the shower . i washed my hair then i shaved . i washed my body them got out and wrapped myself in a towel . i wondered where my mom and my little sister were , they never told me they were going anywhere today ? maybe my mom took my sister to spend the night at her baby sitters or something , i dont know . i got dressed in my pajamas and took off my makeup . after that i went downstairs to make myself a cup of noodles when i saw an envalope on the table . i opened it and there was 400 dollars it in and a note , the note read :
dear vanessa ,
im sorry i didnt let you know before i left but i didnt have my phone on me and it was short notice . your grandmas in the hospital and i need to go see her . i took anita with me and we will be home in about a week . i left you $400 for food and i know school starts next week so i want you to go shopping for clothes and shoes . spend your money wisely and stay safe , ill be calling every so often to check up on you , love you lots . xoxo . great . my grandma lives all the way in new mexico . what am i going to do if theres an emergency ? all this thinking was making me even more hungry and after i found the $400 i thought i could do way better than a cup of noodles . i walked to stevens house and knocked on the door , a little boy answered .
