Y/N POV

we've been here for a few hours now, vi went to sleep a while ago in our shared room along with my sister, who went to sleep in her room, i stayed to help ekko get the younger kids to bed.

I got the last kid to sleep and went to see ekko to let him know, "Ekko?" i ask as i made my way over to him."Yeah? you finally get that kid to sleep?" he asked, looking away from the task he had started to look over at me. "Yeah, eventually. he was a tough one, " i say, laughing a bit."He always is, i do have a question, though." he says as he stands up, stretching. i think i hear a few of his bone pop.

"And that may be?" i ask him slightly, tilting my head to the side."Now i know that we've been through this like we were earlier, but i was wondering why you're in the lanes?" he asks with curiosity in his tone."I was dragged along with my sister, i would much rather be back in piltover taking a nice bath right now." i say joking a bit,"but all jokes aside, i was indeed dragged along with my sister she was originally going to see another inmate but that one had been attacked by Vi so we ended up going to speak with vi and take her out of prison to find out what's going on here, however i'm like 99% sure that Caitlyn is only here for the blue crystal ball thing you know as her job as an enforcer, it's annoying if you ask me, not only because i know fine well our mother is going to beat our asses when we get back home but she's also going to give us a lecture about how people from the Undercity are dangerous, i get her point there is some very dangerous people here but at the same time theres other who are just trying to protect themselves and their loved ones." i sigh, finishing my small rant.

Ekko just stares at me like i had just told him my entire life story. He stays quiet for what feels like hours. "So let me get this straight, Your sister, Caitlyn dragged you along with her to speak to an inmate about an attack that happened, and you think she's on a mission to get the gemstone back but she's dragging you along in her shit as well?" he asks, looking at me even more confused than he had beforehand."Yeah, pretty much sums it up, " i say, laughing nervously.

It's been a few hours since me and ekko started talking, we've been sat speaking about what it's like in the undercity and what it's like in piltover and how different the places are. Knowing what goes on down here makes me feel so sorry that i get everything I've ever wanted, and they have to look around for any scraps of food they can. I would absolutely help them all if i had the power to, but i don't. im just a councilers daughter that everyone thinks is a rich spoilt brat that gets everything she wants.

Vi and caitlyn have woken up and are ready to leave as we head back to Piltover to give back the gemstone, we start to walk through this corridor with these weird bug things that glow, they look really pretty "What are they?" I ask looking around at them all the more that open their wings and fly "We call them firelights, never seen so many though" Vi says looking around as well. I can't help but stop walking to look around more at these beautiful firelights. This place, the  Undercity is so beautiful yet so dangerous for a Piltover girl like me and my sister, if only the councillors actually cared enough to make this place safe enough then maybe the people down here wouldn't have to worry so much about being hurt or killed, from what Ekko told me it's all that guys fault, I think his name was Silco the guy who runs the Undercity.

After a long walk we finally get to the bridge but I can't help but get such a bad feeling about this, like somethings going to happen, that people are going to die. "Are we sure this is a good idea? I have such a bad feeling about this" I say as I stop walking just before we get onto the bridge "I'm sure it will be fine" Caitlyn says as she comes up beside me gently rubbing my arm in a comforting manner. One thing that Ekko and vi don't know about me is whenever I get a bad feeling something always seems to go wrong, like a time when I was younger, Grayson the old sherif went down to the Undercity for something that I apparently wasn't allowed to know about, I got a bad feeling and told her about it she told me not to worry, I begged her to wait another day but she insisted on going down as whatever she was doing was so very important. She never came back up. She died down there. I don't want to risk anything this time "please can we wait till it's light, I have a really bad feeling Cait" I say trying to convince the three that we should wait until it's lighter but non of them listened to me "We'll be fine Y/N, I promise" Ekko says continuing to walk onto the bridge "fine whatever yous say but if something bad happens do not blame me, I tried to warn you all" I say walking along side Cait and Ekko.

Vi stopped walking and stand there looking at the floor "I can't leave her again." She then says, presumably speaking about  her sister "You can't change her" Ekko then says "I have to try" she says looking at Ekko directly, Ekko scoffs as he walks over to her "don't get yourself killed" he then adds as he gets closer giving her a hug, she chuckles and adds on "no promises" returning the hug. I can't help but watch the two, maybe her leaving us is the reason I have a bad feeling? What if something happens to her? I think to myself I must of been looking at her with a worried face because she comes over to me putting a hand on my cheek after tucking a bit of my hair behind my ear "I'll be fine, she wouldn't hurt me" she says looking at me with a soft reassuring look "but she might, you seen how she reacted to seeing me and Caitlyn, yeah we probably triggered her, I get she's your sister, vi but think about it, please" I say almost begging for her to stay "Think about what exactly? She's my sister, I left her once and no way in hell am I leaving her again, I promise I'll be fine cupcake" she says cupping my face "you don't have to worry about me" she says as she plants a small kiss on my forehead, I give in and just stay silent she's way too stubborn for me to convince her.

Vi starts to walk away after saying bye to Caitlyn leaving me Ekko and Caitlyn to continue walking to Piltover, as we get closer massive fog lights turn on as Marcus walks forward with his little gang of enforcers behind him aiming their guns at us. I block out of the conversation as i look around at these firelights that don't exactly look real, they look fake almost like someone's hand made them to be something they're not.

I hear a gun go off which catches my attention, I see that Ekko been shot, I go to rush over and see if he's ok, I hear vi shout for me but that doesn't stop me from making sure Ekko is ok, the firelights come in closer one landing on Marcus's gun, then everything starts to blow, all I see is explosions I try to get to Cait to cover her but everything is too bright, after the explosion I put the pieces together and realise someone had made their own version of the firelights and turned them into explosives.

I manage to get up and rush over to Cait as she's dragging herself across the floor to get somewhere that she can stand up. I look around to see if I can see where Ekko is but I can't see him anywhere, "I told you I had a bad feeling!! I told all three of you and non of you assholes listened to me!!" I almost shout at Cait as vi reaches us.

I look around more as vi helps Cait, i stand up ready to follow the pair then I see her, the girl with blue braids from before, I still don't know her name, Vi calls her 'Powder' but Ekko calls her 'Jinx' she looks angry, she then draws her gun ready to shoot at us, is this where I die? I'm in the way if she shoots I'll be shot without a doubt, before I could even think about it, she shoots.
