As much as BSS were enjoying their new roommates, they still had a business to run. Especially in October, they had far too many cases to investigate, and this one was no different.

"I really hate these hotel ones," Soonyoung said, holding their smoke machine in front of him as though it was protection. "Don't they know I have a weak heart?"

"They probably know, but don't care." Seokmin shuddered when a photo frame fell off the shelf, turning the flashlight towards it. "I feel a ghostly presence here."

Seungkwan tightened his hands on the vacuum he held. He felt uneasy here, and it wasn't the usual feeling that regularly haunted the ghostbusting trio.

"Ah!"

Seungkwan was about to turn and scold Soonyoung for his random screaming, but he stopped when he also stumbled back. He hadn't fallen onto the floor like Soonyoung, but that was... freaky.

"Okay, so there's ghosts here." Seokmin nodded, but the flashlight moved with him. "Yep. Perfectly find. This is my job."

He immediately screamed the moment he moved, dropping the flashlight. It dropped down onto the ground, switching off immediately.

"Nope!" Soonyoung scrambled up from the ground faster than Seungkwan had ever seen him move together. "Where's the light switch. I'm not doing this."

He tried his best to push through, but he was stopped by some force. He didn't know what to do. There was definitely a ghost, all right, and they did not want Caratland's #1 (and only) exorcist trio here.

Soonyoung kept forcing himself out, but he suddenly fell as the force stopped pushing against him. He scrambled for the lights and flipped them on.

There, materialized, were Mingyu and Seungcheol, going at it against some kind of other ghost. Seokmin caught glimpes of another pirate, or something of the sort, picking the flashlight back up.

"Seungkwan!" Soonyoung yelled.

Seungkwan looked at the vacuum in his hands, turning it on. "Seungcheol, Mingyu, steer clear!"

The two ghosts stepped back, letting the vacuum slurp up the ghost. The room felt heavy when he turned it off.

"Where did it... go?" Seungcheol asked.

"It's kind of stuck in here," Seungkwan explained. "It'll eventually either get let out or churn to dust, and I don't think it'll be the former."

Mingyu shuddered.

"No, no, not you." Seokmin stepped forwards, swiping his hands wildly. "But, uh, thank you. Really."

"No problem." Seungkwan dusted off his shoulder. "Mingyu's a pirate himself and I witnessed an assault on the king, so we're here to protect."

Soonyoung collapsed between the two ghosts. "Can we go home yet?"
