Hey you guys!! Great news! I can finally add a new chapter. For some reason Wattpad wouldn't allow me to before but now that I can, I'm getting a new chapter out for you guys. Again, I'm sorry for the slow updates but I assure you new chapters are coming !!!! Also, if you haven't read my last chapter, I did end up updating it with a few more parts since I wasn't able to get a new chapter out before. Please read before that one if you haven't already done so :) also, excuse the constant switches between points of view.
Let's get on with the story!
Well, we left off with Yuzura showing off her enchanting singing skills and wowing everyone that showed up for Genkais test! bet u didn't know she could sing ;] anyway I apologize if this sounds ooc ON WITH THE STORY.
The group was led to a big empty field with a few feet away being a creepy forest that gave off a weird vibe.... It almost gave even Yuzura a chill. She was feeling sorry for the men that have to take a trip through this forest as a test but...also curious to see how they manage too.
"Alright everyone! welcome to the next part of your test! A little endurance run". Genkai announced to everyone smirking slightly.
A few groans of annoyance and whimpers of fear mixed within the air, making the atmosphere of the forest seem even more gloomy.
"It feels like the forest has an aura of its own." The shortest among them said. He kind of reminded Yuzu of a monk in training.
"No way man, I'm not going in there!" another guy said.
"Sorry Genkai, I really wanted to be your student but forget this!" Another said.
Both of them...ran away.
"Pfft......babies." I muttered in annoyance earning a slight chuckle from Yusuke.
"You know this forest looks like something not everyone can handle, especially little boys and girls. Maybe you should run along home" this green haired bastard retorted looking at Yusuke and I.
"Speak for yourself! like a little walk-through grandma's forest is going to keep me from winning." Yusuke retorted annoyed that bastard said something to him.
"Even if I was to do this test, I would still beat you, ALL of you to the finish line. I replied cockily. 'Like hell am I going to let this fool talk down to me just because I'm a girl! who does he think he is!? Did he forget that I've been with Genkai long before this test?!' I thought annoyed. 'He is handsome though' I thought to myself admiring his luscious emerald locs blowing softly in the wind, but looking away quickly before I could be noticed. unbeknownst to her, Kazuma witnessed the little exchange and glared at the man.
