"Elizabeth- Liz for short."

Elizabeth Smith ran through the woods, she had to get away from the sanctuary, she had to get away from her father.

Her father, Negan Smith is evil.

She's tried to see the good in him, but she just couldn't. He steals, kills, and she couldn't deal with it anymore.

She stopped running to catch her breath, "Where am I even supposed to go?" She thought, she had no one.

Since the world ended she's been with her father, her mother died shortly after everything started. Her mother was her best friend, she was never that close with her father.

She looked around the woods, and then looked at the backpack on her back.

She brought enough supplies to last her a week or so, after that she had no idea what she was going to do.

She fastened the backpack and continued walking, not running. She's made it far enough that she didn't need to run.

She wasn't even completely sure her father would care that she left, no one else seemed to.

Safety, that was all she wanted. She never had that in the Santuary. She wanted to live in a place that was safe, and that didn't murder people for fun. She wanted a leader that cared for their people, or a place that didn't even have a leader. She just wanted a community.

She walked through the woods until she found a road, a road full of cars, and walkers.

At first she didn't wanna go on the road, she didn't feel like killing walkers, she was exhausted. But she couldn't walk through the woods all day.

She walked in the road and right away she saw a fence, or a gate, she wasn't sure what it was. Maybe it's a community, a place to live, she thought. She walked towards the gate, not sure what to do. Should she knock? Should she just walk away.

Just as she was about to walk back into the woods, she heard a voice call out to her. "Hey! Don't move!" She heard a male yell out to her. She froze. I shouldn't have came towards the gate, she thought.

She heard the gate open behind her and footsteps approaching her, she didn't move.

"You got any weapons?" The male said from behind her. She slowly nodded her head. "Where?" He asked, she pointed to her pants pockets.

The male reached into her pockets and took out her gun and then her knife. "Nice knife." She heard another male say, his voice was all gruffy.

She couldn't move, it was like her feet were stuck to the ground. "How many walkers have you killed?" The second male asked her, she took a deep breathe. "Do people keep count?" She asked. What a stupid question, she thought.

She could almost hear the male's eyeroll. "How many people have you killed?" The male asked her, she sighed. She hated talking about this. "Two." She replied with a sigh. "Why?" He asked, the girl rolled her eyes.

"Why is it any of your business?" She replied, the first male sighed. "If you don't tell us why, we'll kill you." The second male said, she straightened her posture, this place can't be better than the santuary.
