"Glenn is strong."

I sit on the floor next to Maggie, she's laying down on the RV.

Rick and a few more members of the group, including Carl and I, have decided to go to Hilltop, since we have no official doctor here anymore.

"Go talk to Carl or something." Maggie weakly says, grabbing my hand and giving it a quick squeeze. I shake my head. "No. I need to be right here, with you." I say, freeing my hand from her grasp.

Maggie groans, I don't know if it was out of pain or not. "Go talk to Carl, or Sasha. I need to think for a second." She says, sending me a pleading look.

I hesitate for a second. I shouldn't leave her alone, not right now. "Maggie-" I start, she puts up a hand to silence me before I could get my sentence out. "Go, Liz. I'll be fine." She says, giving me a sweet but eager smile. I nod.

I get off the floor and out of the back room Maggie was in, walking up to Carl who was sitting at the table.

"Can I sit here?" I ask, he looks up at me.

He hesitates for a second before nodding his head, giving me permission to sit across from him.

I slowly slide down in the seat across from him.

I take my handgun out of it's holster and place it on the table, I'm very paranoid when it comes to gun accidents.

"How's Maggie?" He asks me, not making direct eye contact with me. I look down at the palm of my hand, drawing little lines on it with my fingertip.

"She's okay, I think. She seems like she's in a lot of pain." I hesitate before saying my last sentence. "I'm really scared, Carl." I manage out of my mouth.

He finally looks up at me, making eye contact.

"Don't be. Maggie will be fine, and if anything happens- I'll protect her, and you." He says, keeping a serious look on his face. I give him a sweet smile, before looking out the window at the moving ground around us.

"Do you think anything is going to happen?" I ask him, he opens his mouth- thinking of what to say.

"No. I don't. But if something does, I'll be here for you." He says, reaching across the table and taking my hand in his.

I look down at our hands holding. Carl and I haven't talked all that much. I mean, we've talked about my dad- but that's it. We haven't talked about our "kiss" situation.

I still haven't figured out if I have feelings for Carl Grimes. Whenever I think I don't, he always does something like this- like holding my hand when I'm nervous, or just simple stuff like putting his hand on my knee.

I look back up at Carl, making eye contact with him. I open my mouth to respond to the situation, but before I could Abraham interrupted me.

"What the bitch." He says, I quickly let go of Carl's hand and walk up to the front of the RV to see what Abraham was talking about- Rick did the same.

"What?" Rick and I say in unison. "Enemy close." Abraham responds. I look out onto the road in front of us.

There is a group of people standing in the middle of the road, facing us.

I squint my eyes, trying to get a closer look.

Standing right in the front was Simon, my father's right hand man. A man was laying on the ground, all tied up. 'Is that Glenn?' No. It's not. I answer myself as I look at the man laying on the ground.
