[28] help!

Jisung and Felix laughed as they listened to Seungmin's story. They didn't care if several customers at the convenience store turned to look at them. 

After acquiring their favorite food, they headed to Jisung's house.  Seungmin halted his steps when he noticed something in the dark alley to his right.  Jisung and Felix also observed the hallway before hearing the sound of people screaming.

"HELP!"

"Jisung, no!" Felix grabbed Jisung's arm, who started to take steps towards the dark alley.

"Stay with Minie," Jisung said. Then, Jisung handed the package to Felix and ran towards the voice that was still screaming.

"No need to worry, okay? We already know who Jisung really is, so that means he can defend himself." Seungmin said calmly.

Jisung revealed his identity to them two days ago. Like Hyunjin, they were shocked by the confession but at the same time they accepted Jisung's good and bad sides.

Seungmin embraced his boyfriend's shoulder, who was beginning to worry.  From where they were standing, they saw Jisung kick the man who was trying to step on another man who was lying down. The man fell down before getting up and trying to hit Jisung.  Due to the weak impact, Jisung was easily able to dodge it.

"Changbin-hyung would kill you if he knew you beat your ex!" Jisung said while grabbing Jeongin's ex-fiance.

"Don't you dare to tell him!"

Jisung assaulted the man before Jeongin asked him to cease.

"Boss, please, stop..."

Jisung gave his ex-staff a glare. But he still let go of the man. Felix and Seungmin ran to find Jisung, who was seen helping the man who was stabbed earlier.

"Take him to my house."

Hyunjin doesn't understand why Jisung still wants to help Jeongin, who has been thrown out of work. 

Jeongin was fired from work immediately after confronting Jisung at their house. Hyunjin gave support to Jisung's decision. 

After being fired from work, Jeongin departed from Changbin's house.

"Who was the man who hit you?" asked Felix while helping Jisung clean the wounds and bruises on Jeongin.  Sometimes the youngest groaned due to the painful effects of the ointment.

"His ex-fiancé," replied Jisung, representing Jeongin. He is aware that Jeongin is not prone to opening his mouth in situations like this.

"You need to make a report because I'm sure this isn't the first time he has done this to you," said Seungmin. The reason for this was that he noticed some old bruises on the body of the youngest.

"I saw CCTV footage near the shop in the alley. Although it was dark there, I was confident that CCTV would be helpful to you."

"Did you mean the cake shop earlier?"

Seungmin gave a nod in response to Jisung's inquiry.

"Chan-hyung knows the owner." 

The hallway was close to Jisung's house, making him familiar with the situation there.  He visited the cake shop multiple times as well.

"I can accompany you to make a report," added Jisung.

"Why do you still want to lend me a hand after what I did to you? Did you know, I tried to make Hyunjin-hyung hate you?"Jeongin said while looking straight into Jisung's eyes.

Seungmin and Felix exchanged glances.  Jisung did not disclose this to them.

Leaning against the couch, Hyunjin waited for his husband's response.

"You know what, I can kill you anytime, anywhere. But I still adhere to my principles. I won't kill people merely because they caused me to feel irritated. And I am aware that you still love your ex-fiance. But at the same time, you desire my husband, who was your ex-boyfriend. If I hadn't had feelings for Hyunjin, I might have allowed him to go to you, but I won't do that now. I love him. I love my husband. So, I won't easily let him go to you. I.."

"Hold on!" Hyunjin stood up before reaching his husband's arm.

"What?" asked Jisung with a frown, but at the same time, he stood still.

"Please excuse us." Hyunjin slightly pushed his husband into his room.  Jisung, who was still puzzled, glanced at his husband's face, which began to smile.

What a strange man..

"You love me?"

This time, Jisung recalled what he said only moments ago.  Did he just indirectly confess to his husband?

"Hey, look at me..." Hyunjin touched his small husband's chin. Jisung was courageous enough to look Hyunjin in the eye. 

Hyunjin's eyes are a direct representation of his true feelings.  Jisung can see the loving gaze through his husband's eyes.

"Yeah, I love you..." Jisung admitted without hesitation.

"I love you too, baby. Much more than you are aware of.."
