Jisung prepares to leave because he doesn't want to disturb Hyunjin and Minho. Despite Minho repeatedly saying he didn't care about Jisung's presence there, the younger man still held onto his decision. He has to study for his upcoming exam as well.
To be honest, the reason for stopping here was to retrieve his wedding ring that was left behind last week. Jisung is a person who removes all his belongings before showering. He is content with the loss of other things, but not his wedding ring.
The cost of his wedding ring is the same as the cost of Hyunjin's luxurious penthouse. Losing something valuable is something he doesn't want to happen. If his dad and husband are not willing to provide him with monthly allowances, this ring could be useful. At the very least, he is capable of surviving for more than two or three years.
He has previously stated that he loves money. He knows many people say money can't buy happiness, but money can buy food. Food is happiness too! He prefers to cry in a place that is comfortable rather than under the bridge.
"Do you not want to wait for Jinnie?"Minho asked when he saw Jisung reaching for his hoodie. The younger shook his head.
"Um, Hannie.."
Jisung listened to the older person while pushing his bangs, which always covered his eyes. Perhaps he should visit the hair salon for a haircut.
"When would be a good time for me to teach your staff how to make cronuts?"
The question made Jisung's eyes light up. He turned on his phone to view his monthly schedule. He must be present when Minho teaches his staff. Currently, he has only 6 staff members. Changbin, Minji, Ryujin, San, Sunghoon and Jeongin. Hannie's Cafe has shifts that are both day and night. But only Minji and Ryujin prepared desserts and pastries.
"Next week? Friday morning?"
"Friday morning? But don't you have class?"
"On Friday, I have one class, but my lecturer won't be present next week, so my class will be rescheduled."
"So, Friday then.."
Jisung nodded as they turned to the door. Hyunjin walked in, but he was not alone. The sight of Jeongin appearing behind Jisung's husband caused Jisung to frown. What was surprising about Jeongin's condition..
"Oh my god, Jeongin!"Jisung rushed at the younger whose face was bruised and there was blood on his lips.
"Where did you get those bruises?"asked Jisung and helped Jeongin to the coach. Minho was still stunned by what he saw. He was unsure of how to react when his boyfriend brought his ex to their home.
"Is someone hurting you?"Jisung asked again when Jeongin didn't answer his first question.
"All that was done by his ex-fiancé,"Hyunjin answered on Jeongin's behalf. He approached his boyfriend, but Minho retreated.
Jisung's presence doesn't bother Minho, but he can't take it when his boyfriend's ex does the same thing. He became suspicious of his boyfriend after Jisung mentioned Jeongin's name during the day. Moreover, Hyunjin admitted to encountering Jeongin at Hannie's Cafe.
Regardless of what happened, Minho reached his belongings before leaving Hyunjin's penthouse.
"Minho.."
But of course, his boyfriend ignored the call.
