- 2017 - 3 Days Later.
It was a sunny morning, the sky without a single cloud in sight, in a large field of grass and wild flowers that stretched for what seemed like miles, there was a 5'8 man, in old dirty clothes, he wore a messy dirt stained white shirt, with torn old jeans as well as brown worn out boots, the man's shoelaces were undone, causing him to stumble about through the field heading forward, he wasn't quite sure where he was headed ,but all he knew was "big wall".
His blonde messy hair swaying in the light breeze while the sunlight caused a gentle shine over the most noticeable feature of his, his white mask that covered his face forehead to chin with a small smiley at the center , the carved out eyes is the only way he could see forward to where he was dragging himself.
Gradually, he got closer, and closer until- "AH-" he tripped on a rock and face planted into the soft dirt amongst the tall grass in the field, he didn't bother to push himself off the ground though , he laid there sprawled out yet hidden in the grass, finally turning his head to the side so he could press his ear on the ground merely for comfort , his mask shifting to the other side due him pressing his head down, he felt exhaustion finally come over him and then...
He felt a faint vibration in the ground, it was more a pulse and it alerted him enough to keep listening, his fingers twitched while he was expecting another identical pulse to be felt and he was right, soon after feeling and faintly hearing the second he propped himself up with his elbows and stared forward, the tall grass obstructed his view however the wall he was looking at ,which was still a good 30 feet away from him, looked even larger now, its height quite intimidating.
He tilted his head, then felt a little bit of dirt in his ear that he had pressed down into the ground earlier, snapping him out of his curiosity he panicked and whacked the other side of his head frantically specifically above his other ear,
Was it a bug?! He didn't want to deal with that again! Oh god oh god-
He paused, realizing that he had not felt anything and that it was simply some soft dirt, "Oh" he huffed and forced himself up on his feet again, he then dusted himself off, his movements causing the tall grass and wild flowers to rustle as he had soon after refocused on what had caught his attention prior and continued to walk towards the wall.
He was tired yes, but now he had to find out what that pulsing was, his curiosity gave him the motivation he needed to keep going and so he pushed past the feeling of exhaustion, and eventually reached the wall after much more struggle and stumbling about.
He felt a strong sense of accomplishment standing before the giant wall he had been walking towards for god knows how long, "FINALLYYYYYY" he exclaimed loudly with an exhausted tone while raising his fists to the sky, collapsing to his knees , "wOOOOOOOOH" he yelled with all his might.
He soon relaxed his body and dropped his arms down, placing the palms of his hands on the ground as he stayed there for a moment while panting softly, then he slowly crawled closer to the wall to press his ear against it, "Cmonnn, you gotta be the thing makin that noiseee" he mumbled childishly as he waited patiently, his patience paid off when he heard another pulse of vibration which felt stronger than where he had carefully listened before. "OH it IS YOUUU!" He turned his head and pressed his 'face' into the wall, "it's youuu, you're no ordinary wall are ya??" He asked , his voice sounding a bit muffled and nasally due to the mask squishing his face on the inside.
Now he was just sitting on the ground, kind of awkwardly pressed against the wall trying to talk to it, then he heard footsteps approach him, the grass lightly rustling from the stranger's steps.
He paused and backed away from the wall, both his hands still pressed against it though, he stayed completely still.
The footsteps of whoever had come up to him stopped, and so the masked man looked over where he heard the noise on his right, and noticed another man standing there, appearing to be in what the masked man would only describe as a gothic military uniform.
