Aiden: What's your name, miss?

Me: Kiana. (Oh god, why did I say my fake name? Let it be, I just want to get out of here.)

Aiden: So, the name you said was fake?

( I rolled my eyes inside and thought  No, dude, I said my original name to you, but I regret it now.)

Aiden asked Smith about my identity proofs, which he didn't ask for... I was shocked and not in my state at that moment. My only thought was I should not have come here in the first place.

Aiden asked me to give him proofs, and Smith was shocked after knowing my name. I'm done; I thought he is going to sue me.

Aiden now wants to charge a file for a fake agreement in court for faking my identity and signing in the agreement. I was like, "What, are you serious?"

A small suspicious grin appeared on Aiden's face. I didn't know what to make of that grin because his expressions were hard to read. I only sensed a bad and dangerous aura from this man. I didn't know why my feelings toward him had changed. At first, at the bar, I felt so good and comfortable, but now I was getting goosebumps all over my body. Thanks to my tight jeans and full sleeves top, they weren't visible from the outside.

Then I started my explanation randomly, not bothering about Smith's reaction. Smith gave me a look of horror and disbelief, and the smirk on Aiden's face had grown. I thought it had ended peacefully

As I thought, Aiden accepted my apology and went into his cabin, mentioning that he wanted to prepare a new agreement for me to sign. However, this time he took all my identities with him, leaving me helpless. I was left to sit with Mr. Smith. I facepalmed internally, trying to break the silence that had enveloped us. I also aimed to calm down Mr. Smith's anger and began talking hesitantly.

Smith: Am I that bad that you had to lie about me, your name, and everything?

In my mind: Idiot, you're the one who approached me, intentionally flirted with me, tried to talk with me, and asked about everything concerning me, and now you're asking me, "Am I that bad that you had to lie about me, your name, and everything?" Stupid, you also touched me intentionally. How could I not suspect you and give you my original details? That's not my problem if you think I'm easygoing.

Katelyn: Ummm, I apologize. I don't know you that well, and it's an old habit. (I lied. I only share with those I'm comfortable with. which I'm not with you Mr.Smith)

Smith: You'll get to know a person well when you travel with them and spend time together, Miss Katelyn.

(Tsk, look at him. I just indirectly called him out, and without a care, he starts flirting with me again. What should I do with a man like him?)

Katelyn: Yeah, we'll get along in the future. (Lied again; I'm never going to show up here or in front of this company or in this area or with people from this area or with you both, even in my dreams.)

Smith: Good.

I faked my smile and muttered to myself, "Good, my foot."

It's been half an hour when the most handsome man I've seen recently suddenly appeared. Well, in my eyes, most people have their own charm, but I usually keep my thoughts to myself. I've perfected the art of appearing uninterested to protect myself from being taken advantage of. After all, looks don't always reveal a person's true nature, as they say, "Don't judge a book by its cover." Why am I thinking about this now in such a serious situation? I feel like I should hide in a corner because I'm blushing just from seeing this man, and that's not something that usually happens to me.

He handed me the papers and instructed, "These are the modified agreements. Please read them and sign." I accepted the documents and glanced through the two pages. To be honest, I was growing tired of reading lengthy agreements, so I simply signed wherever the indicated spots were and promptly returned them to him. Finally, with a sense of relief, I started walking away from this place I had been trying to leave for hours. It was time to bid farewell to these people.

As I was leaving the office, Aiden called me again after taking my ID proofs and documents, which were required for the agreement I had just signed. I was gathering my belongings, not intending to stop, as I had already received payment for the song. I ignored his call and continued on my way out. However, he suddenly said something that made me come to a halt.

My heart pounded like a drum in a wild frenzy, my mind spiraling into a panicked abyss. It was as if the world had abruptly crumbled, and I couldn't grasp the reality of the moment when Aiden dropped the bombshell, addressing me as "Mrs. Katelyn Aiden.

Without wasting any time, I reentered the room to face Mr. J, who appeared utterly bewildered. I threw Aiden a look of shock and disbelief and questioned, "What on earth did you just call me?"

Aiden responded with confidence, "Yes, Mrs. Katelyn, I addressed you correctly. As my wife, you should stay with me at my residence and you have to be my wife."

I, bewildered and alarmed, retorted, " WTF What's wrong with you? Why are you behaving so irrationally and calling me that? Are you insane? Please choose your words carefully."

"Nothing is wrong with me, Mrs. Katelyn," he asserted, but each word he spoke left me increasingly perplexed and frustrated. Every time he addressed me as "Mrs. Katelyn," it grated on my nerves. Then he said something that instantly jolted me out of my comfort zone."

You just signed our marriage agreement and agreed to be my wife.
