"Okay,okay, how about this?" Mulan asked as khan chewed on a bamboo leaf and you sat on a stone. Not far was H/N sleeping peacefully behind a massive stone.

She coughed and deepened her voice "Excuse me. Where do I sign in? Ha. I see you have a sword. I have one,too. They're very manly and tough." She tried to unsheathe her sword but failed and it fell to the floor.

Khan rolled onto his back and began laughing until Mulan hit him with her shoe and you quietly giggled.

"I'm working on it!" Mulan stated while walking over to Khan and putting her shoe back on.

"I don't think it was bad at all." You said reassuringly making Mulan smile gratefully

Mulan then sighed "who am I fooling? Our plan isn't going to work at all. It's going to take a miracle to get us into the army."

You put your hand on her shoulder comfortingly.

"Did I hear someone ask for a miracle?" A voice came

When you and Mulan turned around you were met with burning flames and the shadow of a tall, thin dragon. "Let me heat you say 'Ahhhh'!"

"Aaaah!" Mulan screamed and then grabbed you and dragged you behind a rock.

"Close enough." The dragon shadow said

"A ghost." Mulan said while you just stared blankly

"Hey ready, Y/n and Mulan. Your serpentine salvation is at hand! For I have been sent by your ancestors...."

You tilted your head confused when the shadow of a cricket mimicking the dragon appeared in the corner but didn't stay long as the dragon kicked it away.

"To guide you through your masquerade and to bring you luck for your brave decision to send Y/n in as the same gender she is." The dragon added

You and Mulan looked at each other confused. Something was going on here.

"So heed my word! 'Cause if the army finds out you're a girl Mulan, and if Y/n gets rejected the penalty is death and dishonour!" The shadow dragon leaned closer its shadowy jaw hung open in a menacing smirk.

"Who are you?" You asked as H/n peaked out from behind you after just waking up from sleeping behind the rock you,Mulan and khan were behind.

"Who am I? Who am I? I am the guardian of lost souls. I am the powerful,the pleasurable, the indestructible Mushu."

'If our ancestors actually sent him to help us....we're doomed. He is cute though. Tiny little thing.' You mentally laughed as a small skinny red dragon with a yellow underbelly stood before you and Mulan.

"Pretty hot,huh?" He asked smiling until Khan came over and began to trample on him.

You then pushed Khan away gently and you,Mulan,Khan and H/n looked at down at the now squashed red dragon.

Mushu groaned and coughed as he lifted himself up.

"uh,our ancestors sent a little lizard to help us?" Mulan said helping him back on his feet by picking him up by the scruff of his neck.

"Hey, dragon, dragon, not lizard. I don't do that tongue thing." Mushu said before doing the 'lizard tongue thing.' In a mocking way.

"You're..."you began

"Intimidating? Awe-inspiring?" Mushu persistently asked climbing up a bamboo tree.

"Tiny." You finished while Mulan made a gesture with her thumb and forefinger
