"So, this is the final episode of season 1?" Lilac asked.
"Yeah, looking at the box set, it is the shortest season of all of Regular Show." Sonic said, nodding.
"This one is called 'Mordecai and the Rigbys' sounds like a band name." Ruby said, thinking.
The episode opens inside the Coffee shop and we see Rigby come in carrying a box and going to Mordecai.
Rigby: Dude! Check it out, man! They're here!
Mordecai: What's here?
Rigby: Our fake band t-Shirts that we ordered from that site last night.
"Oh, they ordered fake band t-shirts. Why?" Vector asked.
"For fun I would assume." Espio said, nodding.
Mordecai: What?
Rigby: Last night, I asked you if you wanted to be in a band and you said...
"Oh boy, why do I feel this is one of those Mordecai doesn't remember situations." Silver said, concerned.
"I'm surprised they were able to order the shirts with how they struggle with money." Blaze said, with a sign.
Flashback
We come to some nights ago where pounding down sodas while at the computer.
Mordecai: Yes, I wanna be in a band with you. Alright, but we gotta have a cool band name. What do you think of "Cool Dudes"?
Rigby: "Face Punch."
Mordecai: "Rad 'N' Subtract."
Rigby: "Helicopter Crash."
"They're either getting creative or more dumber." Weiss deadpanned.
"Maybe a bit of both." Fiona said, shrugging.
Mordecai: What about "Mustache Cash Stash"?
Rigby: That's it! That's it!
Mordecai: Order the shirts! Order the shirts!
"Well, least it's creative." Carol said, shrugging
"Better than most of the other names they suggested." Scourge said.
End of Flashback
Mordecai: (now remembering) Oh yeah, T-Shirts.
Rigby: Check it out. Bam! (Pulls out a "Mordecai and the Rigbys" t-shirt)
Mordecai: Mordecai and the Rigbys? What happened to Mustache Cash Stash?
"Mustache Cash Stash??" Cory repeated. "...Might wanna stay with the original."
Rigby: I changed it. Awesome, right? (Throws a t-shirt at Mordecai)
Mordecai: But that's just our names. We aren't really going to wear these around, are we?
Rigby puts on the shirt. Mordecai looks at him disapprovingly.
"That would be a yes." Tails said, shaking his head.
Margret: (coming over) Woah, rad shirts! What are those for?
Rigby: They're for our band.
Margaret: You guys are in a band? "Mordecai and the Rigbys"? That's so cool.
"Knowing Mordecai, whenever Margret's around, his mood will change." Yang said, grinning.
