chapter 21: sacrifices

benedict pov.

"ang galing ng nanay mo.. tsk tsk tsk.. napatay niya halos sa mga tauhan ko..." sabi ko sa bata habang nakaupo ito sa isang stool habang umiiyak.

"my mom will kill you!" sabi pa niya sa akin..

hahaha!

oo, alam kong mapapatay ako ni elise..

pero uunahin ko muna ang anak niya.

elise pov.

mabuti nlng at gabi na, kahit papaano wala na masyadong sasakyan, hindi ko alam kung saan dinala ni benedict ang anak ko pero sabi nga nila mata sa mata, ngipin sa ngipin, tignan natin kung hindi siya luluhod sa harap ko.

bago ako bumaba ng sasakyan.. inayos ko muna ang itsura ko... i tucked one gun at my back and covered it with my blouse at kinuha ang mga pasalubong kuno na binili ko mula pa states..

"hi! im elise.. and im looking for tita marion" sabi ko sa guard na nag bukas ng gate..

"hello hija! nice to see you again! buti nakauwi kna.. im sorry tlaga sa mga pinag gagawa ng mga anak ko sa pamilya mo.. what made you bring here?" sabi niya sabay akay sakin papasok sa bahay nila..

"hi tita marion!" bati ko sa babae na sa kabila ng kagagohan ng anak niya ay andito parin nag titiis sa kanya, i kissed her on the cheeks and looked at her in the eyes..

"hija, is there's something wrong?" sabi niya, tita marion can read facial expressions, she can determine if you have problems or none,

she hugged me when i didn't answered her, and there the tears from my eyes started falling, i cannot harm this woman because of her son, she have been a good mother too,

i hugged her back and said, "im sorry tita marion, i really can't help it, i came here to attempt to kidnap you but i can't, my son's life is in danger because benedict kidnapped him, he is planning to kill my son in exchange of his father's life.." i said crying.

"exchange of what? my god! oh! hija.. im sorry again.. malala na talaga si benedict, his father died because of cardiac arrest and it has nothing to do with somebody else..oh! god! benedict.. im so sorry hija.." sabi niya na nag aalala na..

i look down on the floor,

tita marion cheered me up and said,

"ill go with you hija, you call benedict and tell him you got me kidnapped too, and if the son was not returned before sunrise, ill be found dead." she said in a strong voice..

tumango naman ako at umalis na kami..

i drive to our house and called benedict..

"hello benedict.." i said when i heard his voice answered the phone..

"guess who i got here in my crib." i said and passed the phone to tita marion..

"b-benedict.. son, " sabi ni tita marion na kunwari ay umiiyak na..

tita marion returned the phone as soon as the maid delivered the food and the tea for her,

"ma! bwisit ka felise! pag may nangyari sa nanay ko mapaptay ko tong anak mo!!!!" he shouted on the other line..

"well, if you will agree with me, you can have your mom safely, but if not, well you know what will exactly will happen." sabi ko naman sa kanya sabay tawa..

i heard benedict cursed,

"mag kita tayo sa bahay benedict.. bring back my son and you can have your mom with you." sabi ko ulit sabay drop ng call.

as i returned the phone i sat beside tita marion na nag kakape,

"oh? hija, anong sabi niya? " nag aalalang tanong ni tita marion.

"he'll bring him back soon tita.. you are very brilliant." sabi ko sabay kuha ng tasa na para sa akin.

i know mahirap kay tita marion ang sitwasyo niya ngayon pero i have no choice, i have to do this for my son.

i want anew.

"excuse me hija, ill just go to the comfort room." sabi ni tita marion, i nod for a response.

"hello? mom! are you okay?" tanomg ni benedict sa nanay na tumawag.

"yes son, im fine, bring the son back and we'll proceed to the plan." sabi ni mommy.

after few minutes nawala na yung tawag.

yes! mom is the master mind here, she loves the company so much nang biglang kinuha ni blue ang company namin at nabaldado ang tatay ko, hindi ko masisisi si mommy kung maging masama siya.

i looked at the kid sitting in the chair peacefuly, i can see felise in him, her adorabe eyes,

i remembered how felise made everything for me,

tug..tug..tug..

wait..

"im sorry natagalan ako hija," sabi sa kanya ni tita marion ng makabalik na ito,

"its fine tita marion," sabi naman niya sabay sip ulit ng tsaa.

tita marion smiled at her sweetly, alam niyang kahit ganyan ang matanda ay kawawa naman ito dahil sa mga pinang gagawa ng anak nito.

"excuse me" narinig niyang sabi ni jay z na nasa bukana ng pinto ng sala,

"yeah, im sorry to interupt you both ana, but benedict is outside with your son." sabi nito na nag patayo sa kanya sa pag kakaupo, sumilip siya sa bintana at nakita niyang nasa labas na nga ito, lumapit si tita marion sa kanya pero bago pa ito maka pag salita ay narinig niya ang pag kasa ng baril ni jay z, napatingin siya dito,

"tita marion," sabi niya,

"h-hija, tell your friend to take that gun off from me." ni tita marion.

"i should do that tita marion, kung hindi niyo lang binilog ang ulo ko, nakalimot po yata kayo na bahay ko to," sabi niya,

she heard tita marion talked to the phone kanina sa banyo the reason why she cornered tita marion when benedict arrived,

and suddenly, tita marion's face changed and she smiled differently nang biglang my pumutok at napatingin kaming lahat.

"saaaam!!!!" i heard blue shouted from nowhere.
