Appearance – Ciel is heavyset, and his wings are bright red. His scales are amber with sandstone overscales and bronze underscales. His spikes are wine coloured and his eyes are like blood. Ciel has embedded jade jewels in his claws, wears a gray cotton scarf and a white-gold bracelet set with tanzanite, and has dyed the tip of his tail dark blue in his younger years.

Partner: Crest, a female Ice-SeaWing. She works as an artist. Ciel and her met whilst they were both in the NightWing town of Renewal. An old tunnel collapsed whilst they were in it, and Ciel and Crest both managed to escape and got to know each other there. Ciel immediately was infatuated and he asked her out. When she said yes, they became closer and eventually married. They still love each other now, but it has mellowed.
Other – Ciel has no opinion on the matter of dragonets, and he has none either. Ciel has no pets. As a child, Ciel's family lived in the Sky Kingdom, but now he lives in a village like Sanctuary with Crest, just outside the Sand Kingdom. Ciel had some formal education, but he dropped out early to go travelling.
