when I tell I have always been a Ohio girly, I mean it... wait hold up I forgot to introduce myself, my name is emory elliott. I am 17 years old (I turn 18 in June)! my favorite thing to do is photography, I am the football photographer! I know I am really exiting, not, anyways todays the day that I meet with my counselor, Ms.Clark,  to talk about what colleges I got in to for interior design and which ones of those would be the best fit for me. I walk into the little waiting area that has her office connected to it. I realize that I am about 5 minutes early so I sit down in one of the chairs and take out my ELA homework and get started responding to the prompts. her door opens and she sticks her head out and says "emory! early as always, come in." I stick my homework in my bag and walk into the room, it's about the size of a "big" shoe box. I sit down in the chair across from her desk, she closes the door and sits in her chair and says "well todays the day emory! you are going to commit to a university! so I looked over the acceptance letters that you received and noticed that you where accepted to LSU. I know we didn't talk about you going there but I submitted for you. I just want you to look through it, I think it is the perfect college for you." she then hands me a pamphlet to look through, I look through it and find that LSU is beautiful, like drop dead gorgeous! I look up at her and say "where is this?" she smile and says "Baton Rouge. its about a 14 hour drive from here, have I sold you on LSU?" I look at her and say "yes it's amazing! I think I am going to LSU! she smiles at me and says "emory I am glad that I helped you find your right university! what are you doing for your senior trip?" I smile at the thought of the trip I have planned "well we are going backpacking around Europe with my 7th grade social studies teacher. then we are celebrating my birthday!" she nods her head and then says "well I have something for you, think of it as a early birthday gift." she hands me a bag, I open it up and in it is a LSU sweatshirt and t-shirt. I look at her shocked "how did you know?' she looked at me "I always do, I alway do." with that I left her office exited for what the future had in store.
