The wind whistled around the abandoned cathedral before her , rain drip, drip, dripping on the mossy cobbled path. The air around her was
dense and dismal causing a breath of anxiety to be bestow apon her. As she crept up to the vast to the oak doors
her hand pushed out ready something
that might haunt her. Creaking and groaning the doors opened, allowing her to step foot inside.

Inside, she noticed a smell that made its way into her nostrils. Was it rotting? or maybe even the smell of death itself. That She did not know, so she pressed on. Roaming around the structure, she came across the alter only to be jump back in alarm upon seeing a man in a kneeling position , praying. His maroon eyes, dismal and void of emotion, glanced up a at her. He arose from his position on the floor, giving her another wave of anxiety.

He leaned down to whisper something
inaudible to her. In his eyes, she looked just like her. His bride who... No, he must not dwell on that any longer. He approached her, she stepped back, even so, he stalked
towards her. His fangs gleamed in the light.

Had she imagined it? Fangs? she had no time to ponder as she made a run for it. Twisting and turning through the endless passageways, she came to a hault in front of a shrine of sorts. Standing proudly in the centre was a sharp , oak stake. She took hold of it,
fumbling with it as the sound of doom
came through the room, his deep velvety laugh reached her ears.
Before she knew it he was infront of her ,glaring at her with the upmost fury and obsession. Her hand in a fist , she raised her arm as if throwing
a ball...And sunk the stake into his lifeless heart. He collapsed, gone for good.

Here she was, solemnly standing in front of the cathedral the once
holy and sacred building, so loved , so honoured, was now infected with
a soul of evil.

The wind whistled and rain dripped onto the mossy , cobbled path as she turned and faded into the trees, never to return.
