Chapter one

(reader's pov)

i was in the woods running around with Asher my wolf who I've raised since he was a baby, I was playing with him until I felt someone watching me "what the..." I say under my breath "who's there?" I questioned hoping it was just another animal, but instead a boy around my age came out of the tree line, to my surprise he seemed calm. "Who are you?" "I could say the same for you." he said, but he wasn't trying to scare me, I could tell idk how though. "well my name's Y/N, and you" "Killua, Killua Zoldyck" his name seemed so...familiar, I couldn't quiet place it though...eh who cares he seems nice enough!

I ended up spending the day with him and when I went home my best friend Iris ran over to me "Where were you, not worried just asking, I know you can take care of yourself." "I met someone in the woods, his last name was Zoldyck it seems familiar but I don't know why" "oh Kil is back" "Huh? what do you mean?" I look at her questioning some things "you know him?!" I seem shocked "Well, yeah! We grew up together sorta. It's hard to explain." she said that last part as she walked outside "Ya'know, he's a sucker for chocolate." "wait really?!" I wasn't too sure if she really knew him or not, so I was pushing her buttons "how do you know?" "i've known him since I was 4 or 5" she chuckled but I was still a little suspicious, how does she know so much?

i wake up, my morning breath saltier than normal. I make my way to the market for some breakfast, but I see the same white haired boy from the other day. "Oh, HEY!" I call with a smile "Funny seeing you again so soon" A toothy grin crosses my face at the nice surprise. "Oh, uh...who are you again?" he said as pink dusted his cheeks from not remembering who you were. "I'm Y/N! I hope that jogs your memory!" I look a little worried that he won't remember, until I hear him say "OH! Nice to see you again!" He had on a grin that made my heart flutter. I blushed a little and looked down 'why does my stomach feel like this, it's not hurting but I feel sick' I think to myself. "do you have any water, my stomach hurts a little?" my forehead sweat a little while I rubbed the back of my neck. "boy, it's hot today" I say, wiping the sweat off my forehead. I walk up to a market stall and pay for a few bottles of water. i walk over to killua and sit under the tree next to him "want one?" i ask as i offer him a bottle of water, when he took it, he opened it quickly, for some reason i watched him drink it, i know it sounds creepy, shut up, anyway the way the sweat on his neck shined in the sun, not only that he just made my heart beat faster in general. "H-hey Killua, I told my friend about you and she said she knows you, her name is iris" he wipes his mouth before he speaks "oh yeah I know her but the memories aren't too fond for me" I look down with a faint hint of blush on my cheeks "i-i'm sorry I brought it up" "no it's okay, you didn't know!" he smiled at me and my face started burning up, I wanted too know why my heart felt so...so..so heavy, not in a bad way though.

"he what type's of music do you like?" I asked when I looked at him again "well I keep my options open, I listen to a whole lot of different genres." 'he's too cute I can't take it' I look the opasit direction he can't tell how red my face is, "h-how come you look like that?" he looked confused "like what? do I look weird?" "mm-mm" I shake my head no, trying to find my words "you look different, like it makes my stomach feel weird and my heart gets heavy"
