'This shit is so good'
Eating the meat that had been provided by Dokja, you could literally feel all the flavours melt down in your tongue. Not to mention it was probably the only full meal you had after weeks of being in this accursed apocalypse.
Staring at the flames that rose from the fire in front of you, you couldn't help but wonder how Kora was now. Was she alive? Or had her teleportation also been disturbed unknowingly. If she did come here without her transportation being delayed, perhaps she's far more strong then you could have been.
You took a glance at Sangah's and Yoosung's conversation before looking over at Sooyoung and Dokja, who seemed to be discussing about what to do with the younger girl. You sighed while taking out your phone, turning it on and see the remaining battery on it as you munched on the meat.
From what you were able to remember from memory, Sooyoung was bound to leave tonight and Dokja would have a bounty for a short amount of time. Along with him dying after meeting 41st Yoosung.
Looking up from the device you made eye contact with Dokja for a split second before he looked back at Sooyoung. It would be a lie to say that it didn't feel uneasy to get stared at a man who could quite literally get rid of you if you weren't good enough.
You didn't say that you were gonna be a good use for him for nothing before though.
Once Sangah got up from her spot and went over to the other adults. You walked over to Yoosung and sat next to her with your share of the food.
"Hey, sunbae?" She immediately started the conversation once you sat next to her. She didn't lift up her gaze from the fire however. Their was a feeling deep down, almost like they knew what was going to be said from the younger girls mouth but they continued to let her finish.
"Thank you. For being with me for a little bit." So it was a good bye then.
"... What do you mean?" Though your brain was slow to process the response, you knew exactly what it meant.
"I'm not a good person. I think they're going to kill me."
"Oh."
With your breath hitching, it felt like your heart had quickened the pace. Despite knowing the words, or what she would have said it still hurt. She was so young and she had already accepted the fate of being killed by them.
