Aunt Tanya pulled up in the driveway. I got out of the car and closed the door.
" Ugh Hank really?!"
I heard from inside.
Looks like mum's home. I thought while standing on the front lawn.
*beep beep* I heard the horn honk behind me. I turned and saw that Aunt Tanya was still here.
Tanya- want me to give you a lift hun?
She yelled from the car.
Amina- No thanks I'm good.
I said and she drove off. All of the neighbors were outside watching as I slowly walked up to the front door. They murmured things like 'poor girl' and 'her parents are always arguing why don't they just get a divorce it'd be easier for us and their daughter'
Well they need to shut their mouths and mind their own business. I opened the door to be met with cool air. There was a girl with long hair standing behind my dad with a towel looked pretty bad but I don't think anything happened. This isn't my business though.
Dad- She was lost and I let her stay over that's it we did nothing
I was snapped out of my thoughts with my dad telling a lie. We all new it was more than that. The girl was wet and on the floor.
Mum- Don't try that with me.!! This ain't Enchanted!!
Mum yelled. That's my favorite movie she was talking about. Its some Disney Channel movie. I tried to sneak up the stairs past them but the bathroom was right next to the stairs which is where they were
Mum- Amina, hunny what does it smell like in here?
Dang it! I was caught.I could tell mum was agitated and I didn't want to get on her bad side so I might have told a tiny lie. They all three were looking at me.
Amina- well to be honest it smells discustingly terrible in here.
I didn't want to say that but I had to.
Dad- Hey! Don't say that again or I'll beat you!
Dad screamed at me. I was terrified and jumped when he screamed.
Mum- Don't you dare ever say that to my daughter again!
Mum screamed at him.
Mum- Just because she told the truth doesn't mean you threaten her!
Dad went to mum slapped her and screamed
Dad- Don't think you can talk to me like that cause a girl and our child is here. I will beat you till you bleed.!
He screamed. I dropped my bag and covered my mouth in shock. Dad slowly looked my way and let mum down. He started walking towards me and I grabbed my bag. I pulled out my pepper spray and sprayed his eyes when he got close.
Amina- don't you dare think about touching me!
I screamed. He fell to the floor holding his eyes and crying. I walked to mum and took her hand. I lead her up the stairs. I turned and saw dad getting up and punched him. Lights out. Oops my hand slipped
Then I slammed the door.
Me and my mum packed our stuff and left dad on the floor unconscious.

And that's why my dad isn't here today. I honestly don't think he did anything wrong though. Yeah hitting my momwas bad but I don't think he actually. Ya know.
