[IV.] lost and not found

Traveler and her travelling companion, paimon hurriedly headed to the gardes to report of what they know.

On the other hand...

"Stay silent!" Marcel scolded you.

You stayed silent the entire time. You didn't know how long you had to stay here, but you knew it wasn't easy to get you out.

Marcel got tired of experimenting and went back to putting on the innocent face.

Marcel went to his usual spot and you were left alone in the lab. You looked around and saw his experimenting materials... and primordial sea water. It's odd... what is primordial sea water doing here in marcel's lab? Is fontaine in danger? Is the prophecy coming true?

You stood in place and decided to try and find an exit  back to the surface. You first tried to escape, which of course, failed as he locked the exits well. You tried to find a way out behind the primordial sea water but failed once again. Eventually, you gave up and sat down. You started reminiscing about your days at the surface, how you should've treasured them. What an idiot you are...

Back to the traveler...

The two reached the place of the gardes to report what they've found...

"Oh hi traveler and paimon. Have you two got a lead of where the missing girl could be?" The garde greeted.

"Well... unfortunately not. Fortunately, paimon thinks we have a head guide..." paimon says before she hands out the dendro vision.

"Wow... a dendro vision? This could be the girls. I will help you keep this. I should report this back..." the garde said.

"Thanks! We'll be on our way now." Paimon said before they bid farewell.

"You know... it's not been long since we step foot in fontaine and we're already getting ourselves into this much drama. What if get arrested?! Oh no... paimon doesn't even want to imagine that!" Paimon said worriedly.

"Don't worry paimon... I'm sure things will go smoothly, atleast that's what i hope. " traveler said in hopes of helping paimon calm down.

"Your right... anyways, we should head over to palais memoria to watch lyney's magic show! Whatcha think traveler?" Paimon suggested.

"We still have some time... so i have an idea what we could do to help with the investigation." Said the traveler.

"We should search around for more clues. So, to make things simpler we should get a map of fontaine and mark dowm the clues. Good idea right?" Traveler added.

"Your right! Well then it's settled! Detective paimon on!"

"Ah paimon... you can really be energised sometimes... over energised i must say." Traveler replied before they set off to investigation.

Then, within a blink of an eye it started raining. Traveler and paimon immediately rushed to the magician siblings house to take shelter and ask for assistance.

"Heya... what's your name?!" Greeted paimon.

"Hi..." freminet said. Freminet didn't know who they were so he was quite shy.

"Oh paimon forgotten to introduce us! Paimon is paimon and this is traveler!"

"Im freminet. Why are you here...?"

"We are looking for lyney and lynette!"

"They are planning their next magic show... i can call them for you if you'd like." Freminet offered.

"It would be great!"

Freminet immediately called lyney and lynette.

"Oh hi traveler~ oh and i shouldn't forget to greet paimon." lyney greeted.

"What do you need?" Lynette asked.

"Well... we we're wondering if you wanna team up to investigate something!"

"We would love—" lyney was cut off by lynette.

"First... what do you two need help with?"

"Oh an investigation of a missing girl."

Lyney's eyes brigtened up in excitement.

"Yes we would love too. Right Lynette?"

Lynette stayed silent.

"I'll take that as a yes. So whatcha need us to do?"

Traveler takes out a map and lends it to lyney.

"A map? Geography?" Lyney asked in curiosity.

"No, you need to help us look for some head guides! Like missing items or footprints that could've been left by the girl." Paimon replied.

"Oh~ how interesting... I'd love to help you, but that's only if you come to my magic show!" Lyney said, in hopes of making a deal.

"We're obviously going. I mean it's a magic show." Traveler said.

Traveler and paimon's relationship is just like the twins. Traveler is silent like lynette, and paimon is just as loud as lyney yet they are so close.

"Lyney... i think you forgot something."

"Oh what could i forget?"

"We have a magic show to plan. We don't have that much time to go around investigating. So maybe you should plan your schedule better." Lynette wakes lyney up.

"Oh you're right... well sorry traveler. We can't really help you now. After the magic show we'll help though, right Lynette?"

"Yes..."

The two agreed and they set off to their own businessess.

"Awh... paimon wonders who else we could ask for help..."

"No one. We're on our own now..."
