"No, Tilly, what the fuck did you just ask me?"

"Oh, I said, do you warm your milk first when you eat your cereal"

"I heard you, what I'm asking is, why would you ask me that?"

"Well, I wanted to know if you've tried it or not. You should try it; it's actually pretty good"

It's recess right now, so me and a couple of my friends decided to hang out at a pastry shop near our school. The one that just ask me the weirdest question I've ever heard was Matilda, but she insisted to be called Tilly instead, she said Matilda sounds like the name for a granny or a sickly child; Yep, I don't know how she comes to that conclusion either. She's on the volley ball team, preparing for the nationals. And then, there's Liam, the who's been enjoying our little argument, he's preparing for the National Chemistry Olympiad. "Okaay, that's enough arguing for today" He said, stopping us from getting any louder.

"Wait, what's that? since when are you wearing a bracelet" Tilly asked, as she squints her eyes and point at my wrist.

"Hmm?, oh, it's a gift from a friend; I just got it yesterday" 

"Friend? who?" I can already see her curiosity going through the roof

"You wouldn't know them anyway"

"What? you're keeping secrets now? Liam! , our little y/n is keeping secrets, that can only mean one thing" She smirked, I knew what she's thinking

"No, It's not like that okay, I'll tell you about it later, just, not now" I don't even know what to tell her, I'll only sound like a lunatic if I tell them what happened yesterday.

"Ughhh, finee" Tilly sigh as she put her head down on the table.

 "Anyway, have you guys seen this?" Liam pulled out his phone and started typing, he then showed us a video of a certain person, wearing a very familiar outfit, swinging across buildings and fighting.

 "Whoaa, is that real?" Tilly asked. 

"Honestly, first I thought it was fake, but then people started uploading different videos of this person either swinging across buildings or fighting criminals, It has to be real" said Liam.

"Oh, it's very real alright" I thought to myself. 

"People started to call her Spider-Woman, honestly, it's kinda fitting" Liam said.

 "But, how can a person do.., well that?" Tilly asked, I was also wondering the same thing when I saw it myself yesterday, the swinging, the abnormally fast healing, there's so much I still want to know from her.

"I don't know, but that's why it's getting popular, people are curious and they need answers. I'm sure it won't be long until the news started covering her" said Liam.

"Oh, I just remember, any of you coming to the school festival?" ask Tilly.

"When is it?" I asked, after all of the training I did, I needed a good break; and going to the festival sounds fun.

"A couple weeks from now, my friends are performing there, so I'm planning on meeting them after they perform and go around the festival. You coming?" Tilly ask me.

"Yeah, I think I'm free then" I answer.

"What about you Liam? 

"I don't know, I want to, but my schedule has been a mess lately. I'll let you know I guess" Liam answered.

We continue to talk and eat until my phone alarm went off, it's time for training. "Welp, I'm going back first, see you guys later" I said to the both of them, after that I make my way to the gym.

Along the way I kept scrolling for videos or news about Spider-Woman, people are in awe on how she defeat criminal so easily, or how she could swing across building; for me, the fact that she's really acrobatic with her moves intrigues me. The way she can move so freely while in the air, and dodge like she has eyes behind her head, not to mention how agile she is; I am jealous, I wish I could do what she does. "Spider-Woman, huh"

Before I knew it, I'm already in front of the gym; I can already hear the thumping of mattresses from outside. I got inside and noticed that the coach is not here yet. "Yo y/n!" one of my team m ate shouted, "Can you spot me?" he asked. "Sure, I'll change first" I said as I'm going to the locker room. I changed to my gym wear and take of the bracelet, we don't want it to get damaged now do we.
