Chapter (5)

I couldn't see a damned thing, I tried to yell but found nothing coming out of my throat. My neck instantly burst into flames and then froze in a matter of seconds. 'I-Isaac?' I thought wearily my voice sounding like the very sound of death. 'JANE! Please dont go please! If you go I don't have anything to live for just please fight! Fight for me, fight for your brother, Yvette, your pack, please just fight the pain!' he said his tone sounding more and more depressing and desperate than ever.

'Im trying my best but-' and I was cut off by the blinding light that surrounded my cornea. I screamed bloody murder and heard someone violently shaking and sobbing to my left. And I heard others mourning all around me.

I looked up and saw Isaac had his head in my lap and Yvette was on Georges lap while Callie, Lala, and the rest of my pack sat on the floor of my room.

"Hey guys!" I said perkily. They all looked at me and their faces looked like they didn't even recognize me. "Um guys i-i-i-it's me you know as in Jane Maggie Thrive." I said bobbing my head up and down. "Well you sure as the dear lord don't look like her." Callie said with an odd look in her eye. I rolled my eyes.

"Fine do I really need to prove this to y'all?" I asked as before they all shook heads, but I turned to see Isaac smirking, 'You know it's me huh Isaac?' he nodded I sighed as I looked at George and Yvette they both had the same knowing faces. I sighed, "Ok where shall I begin?" I asked myself pinching my chin. "Ah!" I snapped my fingers and pointed to Callie, "Callie my loyal beta who always has my back, you my dear peed your pants in the fifth grade during your solo in the play Annie." she gasped blushing as I pointed to Lala as if to say 'I sure as hell am not don't here!'

"Lala my loyal friend and pack member, you Lala beat up the whole junior high football team for going into your locker, stealing all of your clothes and putting them on the schools mascot." I said smirking evilly to myself proud of my strong memory.

And that is how the rest of the hour went talking of the embarrassing moments of my pack and me.

** 2 hours later

"Going out for a run George! Aight?! I'll be back in about Maybe and hour, hour and a half?!" I yelled at the stairs and walked out the door.

I ran into the forest and embraced the wind flying through my fur. I followed the path that I have ran only a thousand times before this and was met with the setting of the sun.

I sat on a huge boulder and saw the stars shine in the sky as if they were all little glow bugs sleeping in the midnight sky.

I heard a sound from my right and turned to face none other than vampires. I snarled all of them and was welcomed with their angelic laughter.

That was when everything went black.
