Double Take, Dhruv
'hey are you done getting ready?' minho knocked gently on jisung's door.
'yeah, you can come in by the way.' jisung said with a smile on his face.
minho walked in and sat on the bed beside where jisung was sitting.
'you might want to bring something warm, it might get colder,' the younger advised, pointing subtly to the window.
minho flashed a feint smile. 'i'll manage,'
'let's go, jisung,'
the two left the apartment for the first time together, to go out for the first time together.
'which car should we take?' minho asked in the elevator.
'dunno man. the one that drives.' jisung shrugged making the older chuckle.
'i mean the back one or the white one? white ones, a convertible and my black one's a mercedes glc.'
'you- i- YOU HAVE A CONVERTIBLE?!?!?'
'yes.'minho said cooley, stepping out of the elevator doors. 'yes i do.'
jisung's jaw slightly dropped.
'i take it you wanna ride in it?'
'i- yes. i do.'
'great, i charge by the hour,' minho teases, turning to jisung, realizing that he'd just made him laugh. oh my god. he screamed internally and begged himself not to blush at jisung's pretty smile and his adorable laugh.
the sun was now high and proud, the breeze blowing softly and the clouds swept across the ocean-blue sky.
'thai should be here to drop my car soon.' minho pocketed his phone, stepping towards the lobby revolving door.
'thai?' jisung asked, maybe stalling to avoid the door that looked slightly frightening.
'he works for my dad, kinda like our car agent. we would hand him a card and tell him "i want a cool looking car" and he'd go get it. then he managed everything else, parking, repairs, whatever.' minho explained, turning to the younger with realization. 'you're scared to go into that door, aren't you jisung?'
'yeah.. i guess. it's less scary when i'm being carried.' a soft blush spread on his cheeks and ears.
'do you want me to carry you again?' minho said with no tone of mockery, no teasing and no hint of sarcasm.
jisung looked up at him with curious eyes. 'you would do that?'
'i would,' he said it so confidently, it made the younger shy.
'it's okay, it's just a door.' but jisung was stubborn and he was going through that door whether he was scared or not.
minho watched with a genuine little smile as jisung slid into the revolving door. he watched as the younger turned and spun, avoiding the glass doors and missing the exit, making the door spit him out. just trying to get out, his legs stumbled and carried him, throwing him against minhos chest.
'let me carry you.' minho offered again,
'okay.' jisung agreed begrudgingly, relaxing his head on minhos shoulder, letting the older hold him. minho seized the opportunity, stroking jisung's silky blonde hair.
they stayed like this for a moment. safe. until minhos phone rang in his pants pocket. 'that's thai, he's outside,' jisung stood properly, hands on minhos shoulders, finally looking up. and he was glad he did because he was met with the olders eyes, deep and dark like the night. and they were filled with stars.
