The 3 of them found a spot close to the water and set everything up. Theo grabbed a toy rake and other things and started digging with Freddie. "Theo come here please" Wendy called him over. He walked over to her and she started to remove his shorts "What you doing?" He said as he recoiled in shock. "They're not your beach shorts I don't want them covered in sand now get back here right now!" His mum snapped back Theo reluctant stepped towards her again and asked "Where are my beach shorts?" "In my bag, and after the performance that's where they're staying till later!" She quickly pulled down his shorts and pushed him away shaking the sand off them and put them in her bag Theo stood there in just a pull up not knowing what to do. Although he liked the feel of pull ups, he wasn't expecting this. "Please can I have my shorts?" "I said no! Now go and play" Theo went back to Freddie in just a pull up and t.shirt. as much as he liked the pull up. He was extremely embarrassed that so many people could see it, he went and sat with Freddie and scanned the crowds to see if anyone was looking. Freddie gave Theo a sympathetic look and went back to playing not wanting to embarrass his friend further. Theo eventually got used to his pull up being on show and was playing normally very quickly.

"Boys! Ice cream time" called Wendy, and both boys ran over to her and they walked to get icecream. While in the ice cream line "Theo, have you peed?" Wendy asked, looking at theos pull up. Theo knew he had and looked worried. But nodded his head yes. "OK, that's what the pull is for" They got their ice creams and went back to their towels to eat them. After that the boys carried on playing. "Wendy, I need to pee really bad" Freddie called out as he ran back to Wendy "I'm sorry Freddie their no toilet nearby, it's all the way back at the car park" Freddie looked across the sand and could see the toilets block, it wasn't too far "But I'm really desperate" "Well you're wearing your beach shorts, they're supposed to get wet, how about this Freddie. Instead of walking ALL the way back, you just go and play and its ok to just wee yourself" Freddie wasnt keen and was about to say he wanted to the toilet just as theo came over "Mum, I'm about yo wee myself again but now my pull up is going to leak" Wendy replied with "OK Theo, just pee and I'll change you after" Theo had already peed in this pull up a few times. He reluctantly agreed and said "OK. I'm peeing now, it's coming out the pull up" All 3 of them looked at theos legs as his pee ran down them being absorbs by the sand. Wendy looked at Freddie "see Freddie, it's ok" With that, Freddie relaxed a bit and with a little patience he started to pee himself

The rest of the day went well. Freddie got used to just peeing when he felt the need and theo was allowed to wear his beach shorts that he also enjoyed peeing in too. They went to McDonald's for some food and were told to leave their shorts on. "There's no point in changing now because the shorts will be cold and horrible when we come back to the beach, we'll change at the car at hometime"
Both boys got a nuggets happy meal with a little toy they sat down and started eating, playing with the toys on the table "Wendy, I need to pee can I use the toilet this time? I don't want to wee here"
Wendy told theo to stay put and she walked Freddie to the toilet door and stayed there so that she could see Theo.
They finished their food and wandered around a bit, heading into a kids arcade to play on the machines. While they were there theo needed a wee again. He didn't want to stop playing so he held it. But his need quickly increased so he told his mum, however Wendy kept him distracted with the machines then after his constant asking eventually told him "There are no toilets here, you better make sure you hold it"
he was now at the point of not being able to stand still. While trying put coins into the 2p machines he felt his battle with his bladder wasn't looking good as a bit of pee dribbled down his legs "Mummy, I'm going to wee myself, it's coming out" he said loudly to be heard over the machines. A few people heard him and when Wendy noticed this she replied with "Oh no, you really should tell me sooner, come, we'll go find a toilet. But we need to get Freddie first" she took his hand and walked him away to a different area and then told him to hold it again. But he couldn't, he felt his bladder win and pee was soon soaking his now dry shorts, running down both legs into his shoes and soaking into the carpet around him. Plenty of people saw this and stood watching as theo was helpless in stopping the flow Theo immediately started to cry but wasn't consoled by his mum instead she pulled him away really fast, so sharp that she hurt his arm walking so fast that theo struggled to keep up, falling occasionally. She told Freddie to follow her and the 3 of them walked out of the arcade with theos shoes squelching as he walked. "I can't believe you just wet yourself again in front of all those people. Wait till you get home, I'll show you not to embarrass me again!" She yelled at him. Freddie stood close by not quite knowing what to do with himself. Being shouted at for something that wasn't his fault upset theo even more "But I told you I needed a wee mummy" "You are 6! You should know better than to wet yourself in front of people"
Theo didn't respond, he wanted to. He wanted to tell her it was her fault but didn't dare. His mum was already angry enough. He just hung his head. Wendy got out her phone and looked away this was when Freddie tried to console his friend by putting his arm round him and gave his friend a hug and a knowing, sympathetic look.
"Right boys, that happened, let's go back to the beach before going home."
But theo wasn't in the mood now, obviously his followed and they started walking to the sand again. "Wendy, I need a wee again, sorry" Freddie nervously said, not being able to read Wendy's current mood "Thats ok, we'll be on the sand soon. You can pee when we get there"
Freddie asked theo "do you want me pee now, then we'll be the same" "No, mum might shout at you" so Freddie waited till they got the sand "OK, go play in the water a bit, Freddie you can pee whenever you want to, Theo, go with Freddie in the water and rinse that pee off. Leave your shoes on theo the water will get the smelly pee out" Both boys walked to the water where Theo sat down, rubbed his shorts to clean them while Freddie stood and peed himself before doing the same. "OK boys time to go" They got to the car where Wendy undressed and dried Freddie and put him in a pull up for the long journey home. She then did the same to theo. It wasn't long before both boys were fast asleep. Theo still upset from his telling off.
