[CH2]- A New Friend

While mei was asleep upstairs the rest of the gang were down talking about the situation.

"Its strange dontcha think?" pigsy spoke as the rest agreed "Yeah it is, but she must go back." tang replied calmy while mk was shaking his head violently, "No way! She has to stay, you heard her it was like a prison in there!" 

Mk crossed his arms while the two adults sighed "Alright kid, we'll see what happens by tomorrow." 

Time passed on and it was nearing midnight at this time they usually close the shop pigsy and tang went to sleep while mk was awake, "Alright, lets see-" mk was checking on his to do list basically stuff like mopping the floor and cleaning the tables.

He was almost done with everything the only thing left to do is close the lights and call it a day.

He hummed as he closed the lights "Okay that should be it all! I can finally sleep-" the boy was exhausted yet somehow energetic it is what made him special in a way from the rest

He went upstairs and opened the door slowly and looked at mei the smiled, he got inside and closed the door quietly just so mei doesn't wake up then tip-toe'd across the room then layed on his bed 

He then thought for a bit. . 

If mei was going tomorrow - why not spend time with her in the morning before she leaves? Yup great plan that is if pigsy would allow him to have a day off- which is hard like very hard..

Eh thats a tomorrow's problem he thought as he got in a comfortable position then dozed off to the dreamlands. .

Mei woke up the last, suprisingly she rubbed her eyes then yawned and stretched up a little then looked at the calming sunlight she smiled closing her eyes the feeling was. . Nice the feeling didnt last long though- as mk kicked the door open she jumped startled by the noise

"Wake up sunshine! Time for breakfast" he exclaimed with a smile mei sighed then looked at her friend smiling, "Alright im coming," she got up and did one last stretch "Race ya there!" mk half yelled "Hey wait -" 

"Tch, cheater." she mumbled to herself as she went downstairs only to be greeted with a smirking mk "Hah i won!!" he childishly celebrated his victory "Well, duhh you were literary closer to the door?" "No i wasnt, your just jealous-" he laughed "Mk i swear to buddha -" 

"Alright you two quit it." pigsy furrowed his eyebrows and they both nodded then mei nudged his arm he then nudged back 

Then they both laughed "Alright whats for breakfast dadsy? " mk asked pigsy in which he responded with "Pancakes," theh both gasped "Really? I love pancakes!" mei exclaimed with a smile "Hey uh pigsy wasnt it usually noodles?" tang tilted his head in confusion

"Well, yeah but-" he sighed "Just thought a lil change would be nice." tang looked at him suspiciously tugging in his glasses "Alright then" 

A few minutes pass and everyone got pancakes which was delicious, "Wow pigsy, you should make pancakes more often!" mei smiled at him and he nodded with a small smile "Thanks, kid"

"Hey mei?" she hummed in response with a mouthful of pancakes "Do you wanna take a stroll out? I can tell you really werent outside much," she gasped swallowing the pancakes "do i?? Of course i would love too!" they both smiled

"theres one problem though," mei tilted her head "Its pigsy- he rarely gives me breaks," "Ohh, i see well dont worry i'm sure he'll let you this time," she reassured him and he nodded.

After they finished with their pancakes they went to pigsy "Hey dadsy?" mk spoke his father figure looked at him "Yes?" "Can i - umm." he looked around scratching his neck pigsy tilts his head "what his trying to say is-" mei was about to finish the sentence but got interrupted by mk,
