Mei and mk continued on their walk to both meet and greet sandy mei doesn't know who he is, yet but by what mk is saying about him and how his so kind and thoughtful made her excited to meet him and be friends .
She hoped so at least- shes really not good at meeting new people for the first time as ever since she was young she really didnt have any friends nor anyone to talk to or take advise from
The dragon was peacefully resting on her shoulder till they came to a stop, "We're here!" mk declared smiling mei looked at the place its a boat? He lives in a goddamn boat-?
"wow, he lives in a boat?" mei asked as sushi looked around the place before hopping off mei's shoulder poking its head around
"Well, kinda it is a houseboat and a cargo ship mixed together-" mk responded with a shrug as they both walked towards the boat with sushi following behind them it was very huge for just one person -
"YOOOO SANDY YOU THERE??" mk yelled out for his friend to come ,
No response,
"Maybe he went to get something?"
"Maybe.. But its very strange he usually drinks tea while watching the sunrise."
Mk frowned looking at the ground before feeling a reassuring palm on his shoulder, "Dont worry mk! I'm pretty sure his gonna be fine" mei smiled at her best friend and he smiled back just a little,
While mei was reassuring mk sushi went out exploring the area, looking around she spotted someones shadow in the distance the dragon tilted its head in curiosity as who that could be,
Before being called out by mei, sushi hesitated for a bit she looked at where she saw the thing but it wasnt there anymore the dragon felt a threatening aura from whatever she saw and rushed to mei
"There you are! I was worried you were lost-" mei picked up the dragon gently hugging it in her arms,
The dragon quietly purrs while mei stroked its chin "Should we wait orr go back?" mei asked turning to mk he sighs "Lets just go bac-" he stopped when he heard familiar humming coming towards their way and then smiled happily as it was the one and onlyyy-
Sandy!
"Hey sandy! Long time no see!" mk said smiling and went to greet sandy "Hey kiddo! Hows it hangin? I ranout of tea so i went and got sum-"
Sandy then hugs mk and pats his back as he did he saw someone who he has not seen before "Mk is that your friend?" he asked pointing at mei he nodded excitedly "Yes, Shes my best friend!" he smiled at her
Sandy approached her with a smile "Hi! My names sandy im pleased to meet you!" he cheerfully said as mei smiled awkwardly he then offered his hand mei hesitated and looked at mk then sandy, "I'm mei- nice to meet you too."
She took his hand and he shook it the dragon jumped on the ground narrowing its eyes at the blue guy he noticed the little dragon and gasped.
"Oh. My. Goodness! Is that a dragon??" he walked over to the dragon and stared at it in awe, "Is it, yours?" he asked mei scratched her head "Yeah," he offered his hand to sushi she was skeptical at first but felt reassured when mei spoke in a gentle tone, "Dont worry sushi, his nice besides i will protect you ."
Sushi sniffed his hand then allowed him to pet her, he smiles warmly petting its fluffy-ish head , suddenly they hear a cats meow, "Mo!" mo the blue cat who is sandy's best friend how or why is it blue ? No one knows.
"Aw! You have a cat?" mo jumps on sandy's shoulder then to mei's he then rubbed his face with hers "Why yes! His my best friend his name is mo" mei strokes the cats chin "Aww what a cutie!" sandy chuckles "Alright who wants tea?" sandy asked with a smile planted on his face
"Oh i want some!" mk said with a smile sandy then welcomed them in, and made tea for them and started chitchating.
"So, your the dragon princess?" sandy said as he was petting mo on his lap she nodded while holding the warm cup of tea in her hands "Yeah, i hate it there but i do have to go back-" mk frowned hearing that sandy sighed "I'm sorry to hear that, it must've been bad - considering you ran away" mei frowned "Honestly, i would prefer to stay here with my friends rather than that empty hellhole -" he nodded "Understandable, feel free to come over anytime!" he ruffled her hair
She giggled "Thanks sandy!" he nodded smiling "Of course, your my friend now!" he chuckles after some time they talked sum more till it hit night.
"Guys its getting late-" mk declared while sandy and mei were playing a board game, "Awh man," mei stood up and so did mk they said their goodbyes to sandy by giving him a hug
"Thanks for the tea and company!" mei yelled out whilst she was walking away, while sushi was resting on her head "Your welcome!" he yelled back and mei laughs "I Love the guy! He seems really nice"
"Agreed, everyone sees him as a caring brother figure which is understandable to be honest"
Mk replied while shrugging as they were walking back to the noodle shop "Hey mk," he looked at her as a response "I have to go back-" they both frowned "Yeah, i know" mk replied as he looked at the ground.
Mei placed her hand on his shoulder "Hey, we'll figure something out." he wasnt convinced mei thought for a bit then an idea hit her .
"Look, how about we meet every friday?, my parents would be too busy to notice im gone-" he looked around then at her, "I guess? It wouldn't hurt to try, right?" they smiled at eachother
They finally made it to the shop and mei just realized - how will sushi stay with her?- . . . Eh they'll figure something out.
"Um, i guess this is goodbye?"
"Yeah, till next week! Or maybe tomorrow who knows heh-"
Mk hugs mei tightly and she hugged him back "I'll miss you-" "me too." they depart the hug and mk goes into the shop, while mei and sushi went to the palace.
Once there , someone was already there watching the palace to plan his attack. This was redson the son of the demon bull king, he had long red hair he also has fluffy bull ears and a long tail,
As he was doing his daily watch something or more like someone came into view, he hummed in curiosity as he narrowed his eyes hoping to get a good look-
Its a peasant?- wait whats a peasant doing here late at night? And most importantly why near the dragon palace?- he kept watching as the hooded mysterious person tried to sneak into the building - "Hmph-" he wanted to investigate and surely enough he decided to go and try to in secret -
He wanted to get a closer look of the peasant, but its hard considering its dark out, but as he got closer he was flashed with a wave of shock and his eyes widen-
