Beatrix

Called out the old voice. Snapping the naive maiden out of her petrified state.

In a sudden frenzy, Beatrix turned round and was met with an old lady looking down at her as she stood on her elderly feet.

"W-who a-are y-you, w-what d-do y-you w-want?"

Called out the young maiden as words left her quivering mouth while she slowly dragged herself away from the old lady's shadow. The old lady, an aged lady with emerald orbs, resembling hers, her greyhound hair adding onto her kind omen. The old lady appeared gentle with her body wrapped in a silk cuffer. Her soft gaze had Beatriz lower her heavier guard.

"My child, thou shan't be scared. I'm here to help. You've been scarred. You can seek lodging for a few dawns in my old casle."

Said the old lady as she held out her weary hand towards the shivering Beatrix.
A warmly pleasant smile found its way through the old lady's lips as her eyes begged Beatrix to have faith and take her hand.

Feeling herself at ease, Beatrix held the old lady's hands, hands which appeared rough when touched but warm when felt, an emerald ring encircling her wrinkled finger.

"NO Ahh, HAVE MY APOLOGIES!"

Upon the touch of the young maiden's hands, the old lady started breaking down with pain, a tormenting cry leaving her wrinkled mouth.

The sudden reaction caused Beatrix to retreat her hand with a jerk.
Seeing the gentle lady now in torment, her eyes welled up with tears that were no longer foreign to her orbs.

"N-no i-I m s-sorry"

Beatrix felt as if she was the token of torment, for she realized that hurting Cayden and now the old lady had their roots embedded in her. She was the reson of both of their despair.

Not being able to witness the testament of her affect, Beatrix wrapped her hands all around herself, burying her head in between her knees, for all she wanted was everything to end. Her mind couldn't comprehend the old lady's pain. It was beyond her.

Now sobbing, Beatrix let out the words her intuition instated, words left her quivering mouth, as she weeped, falling iteratively in the dark abyss of her mind.

"Make i-it s-stop, please. S-show y-yourself to m-me and let m-me be, p-please"

" This shan't be,"

Upon hearing the foreign syllables of man, Beatrix jerked up her head towards the once shilling lady. Her eyes moistened but were not willing to let down any saline pearl. The old lady looked as if she was in pain but was restrained from expressing it.

Beatrix looked on in her emerald orbs, noticing nothing but the torment she sent through,
Beatrix ran towards the old lady and embraced her with her everything.

"Forgive me for all that I've caused you to go through,"

Beatrix let out as she held the old lady in her arms.

Softly removing her arms from her, the old lady backed off, a soft smile replacing her once crying lips, emulating the smile she offered during her first encounter with Beatrix earlier that fateful day.

Upon the uncanny actions of the lady, Beatrix grew perplexed. Her brows getting caught in a tangle of an expecting frown.

"Wh-"
"The powerful being that shall be set on the thrown of elements."

The old lady cut Beatrix off as she began with syllables Beatrix never reckoned listening.

"The one that should be respected by all and hurt by none. The being fated with the almighty, for which thou took birth in the living realm. A mortal like none other, a calf impersonating a scar of agony, thou ist meant shall then be"

Hearing the old lady's words, Beatrix grew scared. She knew her chant, it was all too familiar to her, the lady knew about her calf mark, although they'd not even talked for more than a minute, her heart unknowingly sank with every word, a passing breeze told her that it was the TRUTH.

"Thous meant to fulfill thy destiny"

An emerald faint aura filled her orbs as Beatrix looked down to her birth pendant and saw it gleaming with every word the old lady led out of her lips.

"Thou belongs to the mighty fated lord of the three realms, thous fate has now emerged serenituous"

Beatrix's pendant now started glowing, gleaming with emerald hue tlso as to depict that it heard her all around, that it was there to protect her when dawn comes to rest, and when the woman finishes her chants.

"Forgive my sins for my lodge cases trouble, the Queen of the three realms, the Old Katherine oaths to serve thou for the dawns rest and for eternity"
With the old lady's final words,Beatrix felt as if air had been knocked out of her lungs. She started panting heavily, as her mind refused to take in the foreign yet known information.

With her eyes exhausted, Beatrix looked over to see the old lady on the mahogany floor.

Her arms resting on her sides as she sat against her leg with her knee in front and head facing the maple hued floor.

Beatrix gasped as she realized that the old lady had bowed down to her.
