"I'm so happy you guys are here with me" Pierre said as we were in our hotel room, in Dubai

"Me too, I told you I won't miss this" She said and I smiled and gave her a peak on her lips "Even though I'm this huge" she added and I chuckled as I looked at her

"You look beautiful, even though you're pregnant" I said and she blushed a little.

Yes Chloe is pregnant of our second child, we found out a year after our wedding that
she was pregnant of now our seven year old son Anthoine. And I couldny be more happy when she told me she was pregnant again and this time she is pregnant of a girl

It was my last race this weekend here in Abu Dhabi, before I would retire of Formula one

It was hard leaving the sport where I worked so hart to get to and have spent so many years in. I won the championship last year and now I'm also trying to get the championship again, it would be a good end of my formula one career

But there is one thing I know, I proved them wrong. Just what Anthoine said when he heard I got dropped by redbull in 2019 mid season

"I need to go" I said to her and she nodded "are you two fine staying here?" I asked her as I needed to head to the track for media day and she nodded

"Yeah we're going to be fine, Daniel said he would pick up Anthoine to do boys thing, I still don't know if I trust him but Tony loves him and Alice said she would be also here today said she would love to keep me company while you are at the track and Daniel with Anthoine" Chloe said and I smiled

Daniel retired last year as he decided it was time to leave the sport but every year he comes to the last Grand Prix and Anthoine absolutely adores Daniel and Anthoine loves his uncle Daniel

I said Bye to Chloe and Anthoine and I made my way to the track for media day, and I won't lie if I say I wouldn't miss media day on race weekends

The paddock was busy as I walked to the Alpine hospitality with Anthoine and Alice, there were a lot of cameras around Pierre as it was his last race before he retires of the sport

It's weird to have him home the whole year as he stayed racing when we got Anthoine, even though it was hard without him sometimes, especially the first few years since we had Tony. But I knew he still had to prove something just like Anthoine said to him prove them wrong, and he did prove them wrong

"Papa!" Anthoine said when he saw Pierre and runs up to his father as Pierre picks him up

I smiled at them as I saw Pierre talking to him while he was still holding him, while Anthoine was telling him about what he did with Daniel yesterday, since Pierre came home late yesterday and Anthoine was already asleep when he came back

"Your so in love girl" Alice said who stood still next to me, I looked at her and chuckled

"You don't know how much in love I am still with this man" I said and she smiled and we walked to Pierre and Anthoine

"Hey" I said and Pierre smiled

"Heyy" he said and gave me a peak on my lips

"Mom, papa just said if he wins the race I can get the trophy" Anthoine said and I looked at him

"Oh yeah?" I said with a smile and the toddler nodded and I looked at Pierre

"I promised him" Pierre said already knowing what I was thinking

"Than better win Mr Gasly" I said to him

"We all know ill win today because my luck charms are here today Mrs Gasly" He said and I rolled my eyes and chuckled

"PIERRE GASLY WINS THE ABU DHABI GRAND PRIX, WHITCH MAKES HIM A SECOND TIME WORLD CHAMPION. What a way to end your formula one career" one of the commentary guys says as Pierre went over the finish line

The whole garage cheered as he drove over the finish line, we all made our way to the podium. While i was holding Anthoine standing in the crowd of Alpine employees together with Alice

We watched as Pierre got out of the car and jumped into the crowd where his team all celebrating this win

When he took his helmet off his eyes met mine as he made his way over to us. His lips touched mine as he wrapped his arms around me

"I told you I would win" he whispered and I chuckled and looked at the ground and than back at him

"You won!" Tony said and both me and Pierre smiled as Pierre picked Anthoine up over the fence and hugged his son, who had a huge smile on his face as he saw his father just win the race

He did it, he proved them wrong

Not only once

But twice

My Pierre, my husband, the love of my life and the muse of all the songs I wrote in my life, or just  a  few  song s

I'm low key sad that this book came to an end because I have been spending so much time on the story of Pierre and Chloe, but mostly I just want to thank everyone who read this book <3
